Leaves

The challenge over at The Male Room is asking for leaves.  I thought long and hard trying to come up with a masculine card with leaves on it.  I've got all sorts of leaf dies but all were just too small for what I was thinking - so finally came up with this pretty embossing folder......not one of the new 3D ones, but a very old one from Provo Craft.  I used some Kraft card stock and some green patterned paper along with a bit of twine and a Simon Says Stamp "thanks" die.  A very simple card but that's ok because I think guys like it like that.

I'll enter this in The Male Room Challenge - Leaves.

Thanks for stopping by........

  1. Male cards are sometimes hard but this is a great one. The green and kraft are perfect colors and the leaf embossing folder is a good choice.

  3. It's a PERFECT male card! It's simple and has the right colours, but also texture with the beautiful EF and the layered dimensional sentiment! The twine adds interest and enhances the sentiment. Well done! I'm always in trouble with cards for masculine recipients.

  5. I still have this same ef in my stash but haven't used it in years! So glad you used yours to make this great CAS thank-you card. I love how you layered the sentiment and tied the twine beneath it for a great masculine card.
