Female Butterflies

I'm back with a post today for Seize the Birthday!  We have a new sketch for you to try and need to see your feminine birthday cards.  Our sponsor is Uniko Designs and I've used the same stamps as I did last week when I created a masculine card.  Be sure and check out all the details for the Seize the Birthday challenge and be inspired by all the wonderful creations from the Design Team.

Now I, for one, can not tell the difference between a male and female butterfly - but figured since these were stamped in pink and I have girl-y type DP, they just gotta be female butterflies!  I stamped these in Pretty in Pink and added pearls to one of them to say it was "simply the best" as the sentiment says.  I even did some straight stitching on this!  GASP!!!  I almost got it straight too!  As you can see, I turned the sketch on the side for my card today.

Be sure and head on over to Seize the Birthday and join in on our challenge!

Thanks for stopping by.........
Lynn

  7. What a different look to these butterflies from the masculine one. Great way to use same embellishments to create a totally new look. The tiny floral background is so pretty with these pink b/flies, and your little pearls definitely add to the feminine look. TFS & Hugs.Enjoy the nice weather if you having some! We have things blooming, but it's turned off cold again.(relatively speaking...not so cold as further north!)
