Love is in the air and it's time for another challenge from All Dressed Up! The theme for this challenge is LOVE - it's all you ever need and especially with Valentine's Day coming up soon! I used the puppy from I Love My Puppy and you can find it in the All Dressed Up SHOP. The image has a cute little girl, flowers, and everything but of course I singled out the puppy - since I love all those furry little creatures. The "grass" is a piece of unknown DP hand cut and placed on some Bashful Blue card stock. I embossed the clouds and then popped them up on the card. It appears to be raining hearts......I'd really rather have the real rain down here in Texas where it's so dry, but will go with the hearts on this! Maybe once it's rained all the hearts out, we'll get some of the wet stuff.

ReplyDeleteAnother sweet little pup, and I love your heart rain. Nice detail on your embossed dotty clouds and that pretty rolling grass all stitched down. This is a winner for sure. Now you & I would be a hoot doing a video! Yep, I think our two guys would get along jist fine. They sound like similar personalities. I can always tell when he doesn't like the card, but he never says just that. Laughed at his 'are they red tomatoes?'...I liked the card once I redid after the glue mishap. I won't be squeezing that bottle again. Now I know to put out a glob on something and use a brush or a toothpick. Lesson learned (I hope!). TFS such a cutie card tonight. It's plumb a-dor-able! Hugs

ReplyDeleteOh. My. Gosh! This sweet little pup in his outdoor scene is so lovely! Great idea to emboss the clouds with dots. I'm with you on the rain. Looking at the bright side of the lack of rain--things won't bloom and pollinate (ahchoo) that much this spring.

Somehow I missed this post yesterday, I'm sorry about that. What's better than raining hearts?---except in Texas where you need rain. Everything about this card is cute. I love the stitching and those embossed clouds. That puppy is darling and I love his red scarf. Wishing you a good day. We managed to get 4-5 inches of snow today and are suppose to get about 8 inches tomorrow night. Saturday they say it could be a big storm, we'll just have to wait and see. I'll keep my fingers crossed for rain for you and for the people in California.
