Vintage/Shabby Chic

Vintage - um....I'm not there yet but getting closer by the day I'm afraid!
Shabby - Probably.....and if you check out my wardrobe you'd say I was for sure!
Chic - No even!

Vintage, Shabby Chic is the theme of our challenge beginning today at Tuesday Throwdown.  Stop by the blog and see all the wonderful inspiration from the DT and enter for your chance to win a fantastic prize from our sponsor, Really Reasonable Ribbon!

I used a Just Inklined image on my card and colored it up with Copics and Prisma pencils.  The sky was created with Tumbled Glass distress ink.  Then I really "went to town" on distressing and sponging.  LOL!  The panel with the rabbit was done with a die and then I added the stitching on the other panels with my trusty sewing machine.  The crochet lace is some from my stash.

This is not my usual type of card at all (but you probably already know that)!  A challenge is a challenge though and it was fun getting a little messy with all the distress stuff.

Thanks for stopping by......and check out our Vintage/Shabby Chic challenge at Tuesday Throwdown.

  26. Yes, this is different from your 'style', but it's lovely too. You did a great job with the vintage, and I'm loving that stitched die (in case you can't tell by how much I'm using the pierced ones!). Loved the clouds behind Mr. Bunny. You've got that done perfectly. Your coloring is fantastic, and I liked all the papers you used on here. Again, another nice layout. You're the master of many styles I think! Good job. Happy Easter.

Instead of vintage, we should say you are a classic! That's more timeless and less 'aged'!!
