Merry Mouse

Someone told me the other day that there were only like 20 more Saturdays until Christmas!  Yikes!  At the rate I'm going, I'll never have all my Christmas cards completed - and I said I was going to do it early this year.  Oh well....good intentions and all that!

Today I'm using a little mouse from Deedee's Digis.  You can find this set in Deedee's shop.  Cute images and sentiments and they come in the colored or line version.  I decided to color this little guy and then added some embossing, circle die, patterned paper, tag (that was stamped with a background), twine, and a tiny heart charm.

Another Christmas card done and I don't even want to think of how many more I need to do right now!

I'll enter this in the challenges at Christmas at Sweet Stampin' (cute) and Rudolph Days Challenge (anything goes).

    What a darling little Christmas mouse and he looks especially cute backup up by that tag and darling paper. Love the charm. You are way ahead of me in the Holiday card making. I'll have to play catch up real soon before I find myself scrambling come next winter. Hope you are doing OK down there with all the rain Texas is getting. You are always in my thoughts.

    This is adorable. I like the patterned paper on top of the embossed paper. You could also enter the 12 months of Christmas Link up which is Christmas Critters!! This one would be perfect to make several of. I like how you did the charm...the perfect touch.

    Yup! I have set my goal at 2 Christmas cards a month and of course I make more in November/December. Glad you're starting early too - it really does take the pressure off when November gets here! Your card is adorable - I love that mouse! I was thinking I must have him already but I just checked my Deedee's file and I don't have this cutie! So another one for my wish list!

    What?!!! 20 more Saturdays until Christmas?!!! I don't even want to hear that. lol I hate that Christmas comes so fast anymore. What is it with aging that makes time go faster?!     You're definitely ahead of me when it comes to Christmas cards, Lynn. I haven't done a single one so far this year. ;( What is it about mice images that makes us think they are so cute? If one of these critters was scrabbling around in my kitchen, I'd be startled to death. lol Still, I love this card, and Deedee's mouse is one of the sweetest I've seen. Love the patterned dp!

    Yikes, did you _really_ have to say that about 20 Saturdays til Christmas? Seems very short if I think of it that way. This is just darling, and I love that you colored the digi instead of using the pre-color (as I always do, cause I'm lazy!) This is a cutie and works great on that nice print background.     Oh wow... I never thought of it in terms of 20 more Saturdays but at the rate this year is going, it will be here before I know it.
    Your card is so cute and I like the way you have layered over the embossing and sitting the image on the tag like that is really a cute idea.
