Birthday Balloons

If you'll notice, the blue balloon doesn't have a string attached.  I'm sorry but it just looked weird to have a piece of string sticking out at the bottom beside the orange balloon.  So, what we're going to do is pretend the string came off that one and the balloon is starting to float up to the ceiling.  Yes!

I used two products from My Favorite Things - a balloon stencil and also that Happy Birthday die.  The background paper is from Lawn Fawn the the clear crystals are from Studio Katia.

I'd like to enter this in the sketch challenge at My Favorite Things.

Thanks for stopping by...........

  8. I see why you didn't want to add the string and now it can float free. I do lave that pattern paper and the balloon colors.

  10. Well, the blue balloon could've had a short string too! And hidden behind the orange balloon. This is delightful, and you've done an outstanding job on the stencil coloring too. The balloons look so translucent. That's hard to capture (for me anyway) Love the design and hot colors. As always you had the perfect DP to create the frame that goes so well with the main image. TFS & Hugs

  12. Very pretty. I think it's hard to do balloons and show that they are translucent. You did a great job on the coloring.

  15. Love this one. I am not sure if it the extra large balloons or the fact that they are watercoloured, but they are so eye catching!

  17. I did not even notice the string that is missing. The balloons look so real and the clear crystal makes it look like water droplets. Super colours and dp.

    Love,
