If you'll notice, the blue balloon doesn't have a string attached. I'm sorry but it just looked weird to have a piece of string sticking out at the bottom beside the orange balloon. So, what we're going to do is pretend the string came off that one and the balloon is starting to float up to the ceiling. Yes!
I used two products from My Favorite Things - a balloon stencil and also that Happy Birthday die. The background paper is from Lawn Fawn the the clear crystals are from Studio Katia.
I'd like to enter this in the sketch challenge at My Favorite Things.

I love floating balloons, and my imagination visualizes it escaping the house and going up, up, and awaaaaayyyyyy!!! LOL Sorry, I get carried away sometimes :) Fun card with those great balloons and a fun take on the sketch too!

Great take on that sketch, Lynn, and I love how translucent you made your balloons!. Incredible!! Love your paper choice. If you hadn't told me about the blue balloon not having a string, I never would have noticed it. lol

The balloons look so translucent. That's hard to capture (for me anyway) Love the design and hot colors. As always you had the perfect DP to create the frame that goes so well with the main image.
