Easter Trio

It's almost Easter and the bunnies are hopping all over the place.  Instead of doing three separate posts for my Easter cards, I decided to do them all at once and be done with it.  Lazy?  Not really - just easier.  Um......

This first card is done with stamps from Memory Box.  Cute little bunnies, a bit of grass, some sky, and sequins finished this up.  I almost thought that one sequin was an egg hiding in the grass.

Sometimes my mind works in mysterious ways - but for some reason I thought this would look really good on gray cardstock.  I'm having a few seconds thoughts on that now.  Anyway, the original card didn't have the little bunny on it, but then I figured, why not.  I'm still practicing on watercoloring and this was the results on one of my attempts.  The image is from Close to My Heart and the sentiment from Mark's Finest Papers.

The last of the litter for my post.....  This is a stamp from Stampin' Up that a blogging friend was able to get for me.  It was love at first sight on this stamp and this is maybe the second time I've used it.  What can I say?  Another attempt at watercoloring and a very clean and simple design.

Thanks for stopping by........and have a wonderful weekend.
Lynn

  3. All three are precious cards. I love each of them. I like the sequins hiding in the grass, kind of like hiding in my carpet. LOL A great job with the watercolors and I love the simplicity of the last card. Wishing you a great weekend and tell Rambo not to go outside to chase the bunnies. Mine go crazy when they see a bunny or a squirrel.

  12. Three awesome Easter cards! I love the pink gingham paper on your first card, your watercoloring on the second one is beautiful and I love the gray paper and the addition of the bunny. Lastly I love that stamp too! I wanted to purchase it a while back when it first came out, but my practical side of the brain said no you don't need it. Now that I see it again on your beautiful card my brain is saying why didn't you get that stamp! Have a Happy Easter Lynn!

  21. Happy Easter, and I'm loving all 3 of these darling cards. Your watercoloring is very impressive, and love the mottled background on #2 with the soft coloring, and it looks very regal against the white & gray. I like that you kept that 'softer' look. And #3, you always ace the CAS, and this one is no exception! Good for you on turning out 3 cards....Your MoJo is definitely back at home.Did mine wander in with it? It's lost - somewhere!! Big hugs and hope all of you have a grand day. TFS

  23. OMGosh, I am loving all of these Easter cards Lynn!!! They are adorable! Love the bunnies in the flower pot, that whole scene is just so dang cute. Love those clouds too, I really need to learn how to do a sky like that. lol The watercoloring in the second card looks amazing, so pretty and soft just like the bunny visiting those tulips. What a cute bunny die cut, love him. And of course I'm very partial to the last card since it showed up at my house! I will be CASeing this one! Thank you so much for sending it to me Lynn. I feel bad as I didn't make any Easter cards to send out. Didn't even make them for the grands either. :( Nor did I get out any e-cards. But...I was thinking of you and Jim on Easter my friend. Hugs, Brenda
