Those dog days of summer are approaching so fast now. It's already started getting hot around here and I know it'll get a lot hotter before it's all over with. These next three months will be a scorcher for us I'm afraid......But, sure beats shoveling snow (although I wouldn't even know how to shovel snow)! Anyway.........
I'm back here again because I just wanted to remind you that we still have our Anything Goes challenge over at Jan's Digi Stamps - and would love for you to play along for a chance to win a wonderful prize package from Jan.
Jan's images come in black and white and also pre-colored. I actually colored this one but love her images that are pre-colored too. This image is a new one in her shop called A Boy and His Dog.
I colored the image with Copics and then added two different pieces of patterned paper and some twine. I dabbed a little distress ink on the image background too. The sentiment comes with this set of stamps.
I'll enter this in the challenge at Artsy Stamper Challenge - its a guy thing.
Thanks for stopping by...........
Lynn

Hi Lynn,
Your card is super cute and the colouring is so nice especially the boy's legs, shirt and the water puddle.
I prefer cool weather to hot summer any day but guess when summer comes, it surely does.
We live in Singapore which has a tropical climate so in a way we are lucky. We get rain like no one's business and much as we love it, it can come most unannounced and change plans at the nick of the moment.
I also like the pun on the sentiment.
Take care,
Monica
A wonderful card Lynn - love this image and you have coloured it beautifully - I am in awe of your colouring skills... a stunning card
Stay safe

That is one seriously cute image and I love the card you've made with it! The plaid looks fantastic along with those great die cuts too! Yes, I'm afraid summer is going to be a scorcher which means even more time indoors.........sigh
Oh what a darling image - and a cute card! Well done, Lynn!
What a great image and so beautifully colored, Lynn! Great layout and that plaid paper makes an awesome background!
How cute this is! Your coloring is so good, Lynn and I love the plaid paper. A cute sentiment too.
The card is terrific, Lynn, and your coloring is magnificent! That plaid paper is so perfect for a masculine card. I hear what you're saying about hot summers and ours is nearly on us. While we're cool today and tomorrow, they are saying we'll be in triple digits by the weekend. Ugh. I'm already ready for fall. lol
I love this image it epitomises summer! The background paper works so well with the image.
