Cocoa Pumpkin

We're not even anywhere close to the season of Fall around here - yesterday was 102 and no relief in site for the rest of the week!  If I can't have Fall though I can always make a card using a Fall type image.

I used a little Cocoa image with the sentiment being from Close to My Heart.  I framed this little guy in a Polaroid type frame, added the ribbon and those little amber colored whatever-they're- called, and it's a done deal!  That "stuff" behind the image is Frantage (once again).  This was one of those cards that really didn't come out looking like it was suppose to.  In my mind it was border line sensational though!  LOL!  After making it I thought maybe I'd add more of the Frantage to the rest of the frame - but it was already tacked down on the card and wouldn't come off.  You just gotta heat set that stuff from underneath or it blows all over creation.  Anyway..........

I'll enter this in the challenge at Marks Finest Papers (Frame It).

Thanks for stopping by.................
Lynn

Fabulous card Lynn - such a sweet image and the ribbon is sensational! Ha, ha - I have a pot of frantage on my desk, it's been sitting there for months waiting to be used - but it scares me :)

Over here we call the little orange do-dahs you used 'dewdrops'. I keep forgetting I have tons of them and they really have added a lovely finishing touch to your card.

Hugs, Di xx

Oh I love Cocoa and hat a nice job you did framing him. I really like the colors of the what-evers an I think your Frantage came out nicely. Gorgeous ribbon. All together it's a winner in my book. Enjoy your hot day. Raining but very humid here.

No matter what you say....your card is still sensational!!! Little Cocoa is just as cute as can be peeking from behind the pumpkin~Love the Frantage. I tried it in January at CHA and put it on my list to buy and never did...now I am going to have to get some! Love your fall card Lynn!

Such a delightful image, and I love how you've colored it. Very festive & fallish. (We did get a little cooler). Loving your frontage. Finally bought a jar of "ice" at H/Lobby, didn't see the color you are using. I'm not seeing it locally except at H/L, and not much selection. Great job on this one. Totally perfect as it is, without adding _one_ more thang! TFS & Hugs

You aren't kidding about that stuff blowing around EVERYWHERE. Pretty sure I've found it in my underthings, lol!
I love that ribbon & that sweet image, and I am gutted that you're still in the midst of that kind of heat! We've moved on to early fall weather here & if I could share it I would.

i ♥LOVE♥ that the card is white... the base of the adorable image is white... and the polaroid frame is white... though it confuses me that when *I* try to do something like that it just looks UGH whereas you can make it look spectacular!!!!!! :) :) :)

Fab coloring, Lynn, and I LOVE that ribbon! Where ever do you find such gorgeous plaid ribbon? How long did you 'fiddle' with the bow to get it that perfectly aligned? :-D Well done!

Cocoa is as adorable as ever & you've colored the image to perfection! Love the photo frame and the bright ribbon! I've read about this Frantage & watched some YouTube videos on it...have to give it a go sometime! Thanks for the inspiration.

Brilliant design Lynn! Love how it is framed and that ribbon is gorgeous! Isn't Frantage addictive and doesn't it add some 'wow' to a card? Love, love, love that stuff! I found a new embossing powder that works similar and I like it as well as the Frantage. It's the Stampendous Golden Sand Embossing Powder and it works the same but is a little finer.

Holy cow, Lynn, I'm so glad I backed up and saw this excellent and adorable card!! I'm calling this the winner right now! I don't know what fabulousness you had in your mind, but I don't see how it could have been any more fabulous than this!

And the ribbon is from where, please? Please don't say it is VOS and not made anymore as I love it with all my heart!!

Awww! I Love your Sweet Autumn Cocoa Lynn! And I love how your card tuned out! Some of my best work is all because of happy un-expected outcomes! lol
;-) My Dad used to always say, Hey you are the Artist, & no one else knows it didn't turn out the way you had expected, lol... So true! 8-) I am making Fall cards right now too, in the midst of a heat wave, we are to be up to 106+ by Friday... So I will dream of and create Fall on my crafting table in the meantime... ;-)

Hugs
Shannon
