Fall Pumpkin

It won't be too much longer and Thanksgiving will be here.....good food and friends!  If only I didn't have to cook it!  Every year I swear we're all going out to eat somewhere and then I end up cooking again.  I'm really thinking I've spent enough years doing that and things need to change - but don't see that happening.

Very simply one layer card using a stamp from Hero Arts that I've had forever.  The sentiment is from SU.  I colored this with some Intense Pencils and then ran some score lines around it to frame it out.

I'll enter this in the challenges at Addicted to Clean and Simple (one layer) and Perfect Sentiments (Fall or Halloween).

Thanks for stopping by.........
Lynn

Hi Lynn,
Wow, loving the simplicity of this card. So simple and VERY elegant and posh. What nice coloring and the scoring highlights the image rather well.
Well, I hope you do something different for Thanksgiving this year. Lol.

Love,
M

Lynn, what a perfect Thanksgiving card. Love that pretty colored pumpkin and your scoring frames it so well. It's beautiful!!!

I'm sure everyone loves your Thanksgiving meal, but I understand that it would be very tiring. Ugh!

Oh, Lynn, this is magnificent! I love the simple pumpkin image against all that white. Why is it I can see exactly how to do CAS when I see your cards, but when I start doing my own, they end up embellished and papered and distressed and... lol

I love your framed scoring around your fabulous punkin', Lynn! A lovely Thanksgiving card!!

I think this will be our 38th year hosting, but it just wouldn't be the same going out. I always say I'll do a turkey other times of the year coz I love it and don't really get to appreciate it on TDay, but do I? Heck, no. Waz up with that?! Hugs, Darnell

oh ♥WOW♥! what a masterpiece of simplicity: one perfect image... amazing coloring... embossed frame... et VOILA! i'll never be able to do that, missus, but i love watchin' you pull it off!!! :)

ps: my MIL could give you some lessons re thanksgiving; it's at her house most years and i don't think she's touched a pan in a decade! her 4 kids (& now a couple of the grands!) basically compete to see who can make the most amazing side dishes, organize the brining and transport of turkey and all the fixins'... it's pretty impressive, actually! (i sit in the living room with the BILs, watching football and knitting, till it's cleanup time, lol!) (ok, i'm the only one who's knitting in that scenario, just to be clear!) :) :) :)

♥HAPPY THANKSGIVING♥!!!

You do the most gorgeous CAS cards and this one is no exception. Who would have thought you would use the words classy and elegant in the same sentence as pumpkin but it is.
