Sunflowers

Due to lack of room, I drag out stamps I want to use and then usually put them away after I use them so my desk isn't cluttered all the time.  Now, if I wasn't lazy, I could go look up and see where this stamp is from but......Well.....I'm sure you understand.  Anyway, they're big sunflowers and I watercolored them.  The sentiment is from Technique Tuesday (and the reason I know that is because I haven't put that set away yet).

There you have it and hope you're having a bright and sunny day.

Thanks for stopping by......and keep smiling!

Lynn

You did a great job watercoloring those pretty sunflowers and I love that black scalloped border accent on the side! I'm trying my best to keep smiling today, thanks for the encouragement :)

I'm the same Lynn, I always put things back even during the process of building my cards and forget who things are from and when writing my post, oh, dear,I have to get up and check, and that is an effort, so I don't mention the make unless I remember..your sunflowers are so beautiful, love the watercolour and the scallop strip down the side.

I think we all can relate to not having enough room to keep things out on our desks. I love this bright, sunny and cheerful sunflower card Lynn! Love your watercolored sky and those sunflowers are just so beautiful with their happy heads reaching for the sky! This card will bring a smile to someone's face for sure! Hugs, Brenda

My desk is always a mess... Not for stamps, but for scraps and bits&bobs that I promise to me to use early... But it's no easy, they are always too much, so they fill any folder and box! LOL :D But for dies/embossing folders I'm very organized :) I catalogued all my dies and EFs on the computer using two Word files: one for the dies and one for the embossing folders. Basically on any file I add a table with two columns, on one I put the image of the item, on the other write the name of the die/folder. Whenever I have a new item, I add it... I have separated tables for brands, so that it's easier to catalog and search... At first it was a struggle, but now that it is set up it is very quick to update and consult (and I always find that I have things I had forgotten! LOL)
I have to do the same for stamps, but I never had time or desire...
Your sunflowers look awesome, such wonderful watercolouring!! Especially the centres pop out so well! It's a sweet and delicate card, love it!
