A Bit of White - and Guess Who

Another very simple card using an embossing folder from Simon Says Stamp (Wildflowers).  It was my intention to maybe use some distress inks over the raised part of this but I just couldn't see messing up something already so pretty.  I love this embossing folder.  It didn't say it was a 3D folder but the embossed area is raised up pretty good on here.  I also sprayed it with a little water before embossing so that may have helped some. The sentiment is a very old one from Stampin' Up.

I completely forgot but National Dog Day was on Saturday - and since I haven't posted a picture of Rambo lately, here you go.  He's aging a little bit faster now (aren't we all) but still gets those bursts of energy at times.

Thanks for stopping by.........and keep smiling!
Lynn

This is just beautiful just left white. It speaks for itself and packs a punch. Rambo is so cute and Daisy and I didn't celebrate Saturday either. I'll have to make it up to her!

Really gorgeous card Lynn! I think it's beautiful just as this too! I always forget to dampen the paper before running it though and I know it helps! Rambo is looking as sweet as ever even in his older years! Glad he's here taking care of you! Have a great week!

What a pretty embossed card, Lynn! No color needed! Rambo is still a handsome guy!

Such an elegant card Lynn - that is stunning! I think I would have hesitated to 'colour' it also.
Rambo is certainly looking a lot older that the last time I 'saw' him... :( We are all getting older, but our pets shouldn't!

I just love this embossed beauty and white on white is always elegant and stunning. I love the earthy colored card base that gives it a little color without taking anything away from the front. Simply stunning! And what a beautiful boy Rambo is. Just give him a big hug for me as we're all aging right along with him. Hugs

Wow Lynn, I love this card!!! I love that embossing folder too now that I've seen it here. LOL I agree, color would have messed it up as it is perfect just the way it is. I will have to check into this folder as I really am loving it too. I'm glad you kept it white and CAS with just a simple sentiment. Just gorgeous! Rambo is looking mighty fine for his age! Such a handsome dude I tell ya! As him what his secret is to the little bursts of energy....I need to know. LOL Hugs, Brenda
