Riding by......

Just a little fall-ish card for everyone today (oh, and I have another one for tomorrow too)! This bicycle image is from OCL and the set comes with all kinds of accessories. I didn't use any on this card though - instead I used the little pumpkins accessory from Loads of Love (SU). It fit on there pretty good I thought.

This is for the Paper Players challenge - a sketch. I really like this layout because you can either "dress it up" or "dress it down".

As I said, the bicycle image is from OCL and I colored it, and the pumpkins, with Copics and SU markers. I then sponged a little Crumb Cake color around the image. I used one of Texturz plates from SU on the orange background. It doesn't make a deep impression but I liked the look of it. The "frame" around the image was done with SU punches. I kept thinking I needed to make a double frame but it turned out to be just a little bit TOO much so I stuck with the single one.

Thanks for stopping by.............

Lynn

Awesome card, Lynn... love the bicycle and the pumpkins. Your colouring and sponging is amazing... And the green ribbon ties in so well.

I became a follower of your blog coz' I felt that your cards have a lovely touch of class to them - can't imagine that you could feel like the same way as I did (about the fact that my cards are not as good as my fellow bloggers).

You make great cards, Lynn.

Terrific fall colors and creative use of the pumpkin stamp. I think in really life you would have a hard time pedaling with 50 lbs of pumpkins on the back of your bike :-)
