Sincere Sympathy

A friend of mine asked me to make a sympathy card for her so she could give it to a family that had lost a loved one. I CASEd this from a card I saw on SCS by "knightrone". Hers was not quite this clean and simple but I kept mine like this so it could be mailed without any extra postage. I really like the simplicity of it though. That bow is actually brown, but looks almost black in the photo. I used the Thoughts and Prayers stamp from SU and used some Old Olive, Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla, and some DP I had in my stash.

I hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving (if you celebrate this). All my company is finally gone and after five days of cooking, cleaning, washing dishes, etc......I'm really ready for things to be back to normal again.

Thanks for stopping by...............

Lynn

So dignified, Lynn... brown and green look so nice together. I love the tree stamp and the three squares at the bottom.

So glad that your life has resumed back to normal... after having your home being chockerblock full.

This card is just beautiful. I find green is such a soothing color for sympathy cards. I love the layout and it's simplicity (although it looks like you did a lot of hard work!)

LOVE the clean-ness (if that's a word) of this card. My uncle passed over the weekend and I'm going to send my cousins sympathy cards. I might CASE this CASE.

Lynn, this is so very pretty. The soft colors and clean design are so beautiful for a sympathy card, which are always so difficult to create. You added so much with the layering, the paper piercing and the stunning bow. Very pretty! Glad you had a nice Thanksgiving! :)
