Happy Friday to everyone!
I had a little time this week and decided it was high time I came up with a fun card. Now I'm really not hung up on cows or pigs or anything (although it's starting to look that way) but there really are some cute cows out there.
When I was growing up we had a few cows and I fell head over heels in love with one of the little ones..... named him Harold! I have no idea how I came up with that name and for all I know it may have been a female type cow! He was such a cutie though and I always looked forward to seeing him in the pasture ---- and then my dad had him butchered! That pretty much ended my love affair with cows and I'm probably still suffering the after effects of that one! Anyway, this is not Harold and it's pretty plain to see she didn't take advantage of that 10 percent off neutering special!
The image is from QKR and they have such cute stamps. One thing I really like about doing a cow card is that you don't have to do a lot of coloring on it......hence, another Holstein cow for you. Easy!!!
Enough bull for one day..............
Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a great weekend......and remember to keep smiling!
Lynn

Ha-ha, ha-ha! Too funny and I love the look on the poor cow! Absolutely terrific card!
Too fun! Love the bits of red - it makes everything pop. Cute birthday sentiment too.
OMG how cute. Maybe no one advertised the "special" on the Internet so the poor thing missed out. LOL I love the red against the black and white polka dot. The gingham ribbon is perfect and I love both the sentiment and verse. You gave me a good laugh, thank you.
A cute card and love the cow! Fabulous sentiments too. Have a wonderful weekend my friend.

That udder is looking a wee bit painful! YIKES! And lol. I love the sentiment, and the polka dots & gingham are so perfect for a cow :)
Lol, Lynn! You nailed the papers, colors, and design. The cow, however, looks like she has road rash from those full udders dragging behind her. She needs to be milked and covered in Bag Balm! Love that image!
A-DORABLE! This is going to give somebody a great big chuckle with Ms. Cow's cuteness. Liked everything about this one, and enjoyed reading about Harold too. TFS & have a wonderful weekend.
You know I'm going to keep smiling as long as you make fun cards like this! I love the inside sentiment! LOL Great design and colors with the red, black, polka dots and gingham! Well done Lynn.......and that's no bull either :)

It's perfect for a Funny Friday card! I adore the images at QKR Stampede, too, and use them whenever I can. I'm not sure how I missed this silly cow but the band-aid is hilarious. Love your sentiment for a birthday card. I'll be giggling the rest of the evening. Thanks for the laugh.
Brilliant fun card Lynn, I love the cow image the colours and the sentiment.

Awesome Cow- hehehe and love the perfect CAS card and the fun sentiment. Love the name Harold for a Cow too!!!
When I was growing up, my grandparents had a milk farm. We had one little cow, my Grandmother named Bossy, my grandfather said her name was Elsie. One day I said "Grandpa, Grandma says that cow is named Bossie but you call her Elsie" My grandfather looked at me and he said "the word means the same thing:. Puzzled, I told my parents what grandpa had said they both started laughing so hard...turns out my grandmother's name was Elsie.
Love your card!

Chriss
LOL! How adorable!!!! Love the wonky cow image. Your coloring and layout are fabulous. So sorry about Harold. I think that would have scarred me for life also. Good think I never got attached to any of the chickens we had as I was growing up.

Hooray for Funny Friday! (especially when I'm viewing it on a Manic Monday...) I absolutely love your cow card and the sentiment is hilarious-almost as funny as your neutering comment!
When we were younger, my sister had a cow named Sally. When it came time for Sally to be butchered, my sister wrote "Sally's Meat" on every single package to make sure that she never ate Sally. I'm pretty sure Mom tricked her a time or two...
LOL - too funny!
Although I'm not sure I understand the bandaid on the utters! DOH!
cute! too bad about your fav cow though!
LOL!! Love the expression on your Sweet Cow's face and the sentiment is just Perfect!! Love it Love it! And poor Harold... ;(
Hugs
