Tennis, Anyone?

Kenny K is sponsoring our brand new Digi Haven challenge this week!  They provided us with the wonderful images and our theme this go-round is Black, White, and One other Color.  Stop by our blog and see all the inspiration from the DT and enter for your chance to win a great prize package from Kenny K!

Guess this is another one of my CAS and git 'er done cards!  The reason I wanted to use this image though is because it's going to one of the granddaughters that's attempting to learn the game of tennis.  Figured she needed all the encouragement she could get.  She's at at age where she seems to be all arms and legs and is having problems getting them all to work together.  LOL!  The sentiment is from Lawn Fawn and I used the star die from SU and a camera die from Lil Inker.  Nothing frilly or fancy but at least she'll know I'm rooting for her.

I'll enter this in the challenge at KennyK's Krafty Krew (anything goes with twist: Stars) and also the challenge at Pixie's Crafty Workshop (snippets).

Thanks for stopping by and be sure and check out Digi Haven and enter our challenge.

Great card, Lynn! Your GD should really appreciate this strong, confident and cute image! Nice choice, adding red as the third color, it really makes the card pop.

This will give her all sorts of encouragement. I love the "I'm It" look this one has on her face and with her body language. I also had to laugh at those big shoes. I'm sure if I ever tried to play tennis my shoes would seem that big and I'd be tripped all over the place. Not a pretty sight. The stars are perfect. Hope the DGD does well and you have a fun weekend.

Absolutely fantastic! The red just makes it all pop and very clever of you to add detail to the camera die! Your granddaughter is going to be so tickled.

Great card! I think my most vivid memories of tennis is having to 'drag' the red gravel then sweep the white lines clear - punishment for talking in the dorm after lights out at school :(

Oh Lynn, this card is fabulous! I love your CAS cards, they always amaze me. How fun for you to use this card to cheer on your granddaughter!! My son used to love to knock some balls on the tennis court with his cousin when he was younger. Now I wouldn't be able to get him on a tennis court. lol I hope your granddaughter has a lot of fun with it. I wish I could remember when I was all legs and arms, but I never was. lol Hugs
