You just gotta love all the wonderful colors of Halloween........Have you ever wondered why you associate certain colors with different holidays? I mean, why not use green for Valentine's Day and red for Halloween, and black for Thanksgiving, etc....Kinda makes you stop and think!
Anyway, back to Halloween. As I said before, I'm really not a big fan of Halloween, but I do LOVE all the purples, oranges, greens, etc. that you see on cards this time of the year.
This is somewhat of a CASE from a card I saw in the Sept./Oct. issue of Paper Crafts magazine. Very simple looking - however, getting all those little panels cut the same and them spaced right was just beyond me. Sometimes, the easiest looking projects turn out the be the hardest! And no, you're right, I didn't get them spaced exactly right but I'm hoping that the recipient of this card won't notice. The sentiment and spider are from Happy Haunting (CTMH).
Thanks for stopping by..................

Love it! You did such a perfect job spacing and cutting the panels and that spider is cute and scary, perfect for Halloween. I am with you, not a big fan of Halloween, but the kids love it. Does make you think about colors though, I have seen some pink on Xmas cards so why not mix it up.
Ohhhhhh absolutely spectacular!! Or spooktacular! LOL! Very nicely done, love the panels and the swiss dots - super creative!
I love the colors of halloween too. You did a great job spacing the panels!
What a fun layout and nifty card! I too have often wondered why we associate different colors with different holidays.
You and my Mom and your disinterest in Halloween...;o) You did a nice job in spite of your dislike. :o)
Adorable card! I think you did a great job! :-)

Love it! Great colors too.
Love all the Halloween colors too! Spacing looks fine to me but yes, I agree - that definitely is the hard part of these cards!!
I'm off to Tennessee for Halloween this year! Yahoo!

It is really cute how you made this a colorblock scheme. I wouldn't have noticed the strips weren't straight. I'm quite OCD when it comes to lining things up on my projects. That's why I always have my ruler handy.
What a great idea. I love all the colors and they are wonderful with that black!
I love this layout! The colors make for a terrific Halloween card!
What a great fun card, love the swiss dots
What a fun card, Lynn! I love the delightful layout for this sensational Halloween creation!!
LOVE the different embossed color strips. That is so great!
great CASE...loved the card in the mag and your's is every bit as nice...if the spacing is off...i can't tell...but if so it's even more unique and personal
Awesome Halloween card!!! I love the embossed strips of CS against the black and the fun "Halloween" and spider look fantastic!
Lynn, I think the whole thing about Halloween is that nothing is perfect and straight! I love how you utilized the colors for this card. The embossed polka dots add the perfect touch!
another gorgeous card

You know I love this card, it's HALLOWEEN! It's the cutest and looks perfect to me. :) Homemade is all about imperfection.
Lynn, I love this! The softer shades of green and purple really stand out against the dark background. The colorful sentiment is perfect and awesome job cutting it (and the spider) out. Looks great! :)
Very cute Lynn and those colors are perfect for Halloween!
Great cas halloween card. I love the stripes and vibrant colors!
Great card! I might have to CASE it. Love the polka dotted panels and the color combo is perfect! I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one who has problems with panels. They look so easy, but I can never figure them out with spacing, etc. You did a great job! :)
colour combo just right love the lilac colour best wishes Lesley x
