In Spurts

I'm still hanging around somewhat but you'll only be seeing me in spurts I guess.  There are several reasons for this.......can't seem to get a good picture of anything I do, the camera is almost as old as I am and probably going on the blink, it could possibly be the camera operator malfunctioning or going on the blink too, the phone camera doesn't seen to want to cooperate with the lighting .......and then you have...... the weather is gorgeous here so it's nicer to be outside instead of cooped up in the house, and last but not least - just the plain old being busy.  Take your pick for one of those as an excuse!

Anyway, here's one of the latest.  I used the new dachshund stamp set from Gerda Steiner Designs.  It sorta looks like he just threw up the ball.......YIKES!  Maybe he just hit it with his nose causing it to bounce instead.  Whatever........

Rambo was pretty excited thinking the stamp set was made just for him.

I'll enter this at Pixie's Crafty Workshop - to use snippets and over at Allsorts - All about Pets.

Cat in a .......Pot

No, this little cat isn't in a hat at all!    He's in a pot and all decked out with his Santa hat and stocking with a lot of Wink of Stella for Christmas.  A tiny bit of distressed ink behind the image and he's a done deal.    He's from Penny Black and the sentiment is from My Favorite Things.  Short post and a super clean and simple card that I wanted to enter in the Rudolph Days Challenge

Birthday Flower

I'm trying to make a few extra birthday cards whenever I can so I'll have some on hand when I forget that so and so had a birthday - 2 weeks ago?  You know what I'm talking about I'm sure.  My intentions are always good,  but........

This was done for a challenge a week or so ago and never got entered and so once again...... good intentions, but...........
I used a flower stamp from Simon Says Stamp and the sentiment is from Stampabilities.

Thanks for stopping by...........and have a great weekend.

Those Little People

How about a cute couple of gnomes today.  I have to laugh every time I see gnomes because a few years ago my granddaughter could never remember what they were called so she just started calling them "those little people".  Everyone in the family picked up on that and so that's what they're referred to now.

These two really are cute though and look so much in love.  They're from Gerda Steiner Designs for their progressive monthly challenge.  If you played along last month, you received this image free for the month.  If you didn't play along you can always go over to her shop and purchase it.   I colored mine with Copics, cut them out and then mounted them on several scraps of paper that matched their outfits.

Untwisted

This is one of the "Twist Tie" stamps from Art Impressions - however, I did a little bit of untwisting and only used one of the two giraffes.  He/she is colored with Polychromo pencils and I did some  distressing in the background around him/her.  The background die is from My Favorite Things.  I also had a couple of the clouds that I'd run though the Swiss Dots embossing folder so used those  along with a bit of twine.   Just a little "hey" card.

I'll enter this in the challenge at 2 Crafty Critter Crazies ( to use a critter on the card),  Pixie's Crafty Workshop (snippets), and Double D Challenges (twine).

Thanks for stopping by...........
