Yep, here's another card for fall or Thanksgiving. I really don't usually send out many cards (at all) for Thanksgiving, but I'm on a roll here it seems! This is one of those cards that started out one way and ended up entirely different. I finally got the whole thing completed, and decided to add the extra strip of scalloped green. I'm not really sure I should have done that but thought maybe it would kinda "tie" into the ribbon I used. Anyway, what's done is done!
This is for the Creative Inspirations Paint challenge - One of these things is not like the other.
The leaf I used is from Autumn Days set and the sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes -both SU. The top half (Very Vanilla) was embossed with the Swiss Dots folder and of the scallop strips were done with a SU punch. I also used Chocolate Chip, Old Olive, and Pumpkin Pie card stock. And ah......the ribbon! Last year I found this ribbon at Wal-Mart and got a couple of rolls. The more I looked at it (and used it) the more I fell in love with it. Of course, when I went to get more they didn't have any! I even had a blogger buddy looking for some for me and it was just not to be found. Well, a month or so ago, lo and behold I found some! Yipee! I bought all they had. It's just great for fall and Thanksgiving cards.

Beautiful card! I like the added scallop, it does tie it in to the ribbon, which I love, wonder if my Walmart(s) have any....hmmm....need to go look.

Gorgeous design! The double scallop looks great and that ribbon is wonderful!! I love the colors, it is so perfect for fall! I think I need to scout out Wal-Mart to see if they have any left. :)
