What Is It?

Ok, here's the question - is this a doxie or a basset? It's L-O-N-G but it also has VERY long ears! I'm going with the answer being a doxie - maybe it's because we have a little doxie about this color and yes, he is long (and you guessed it - his name is Rambo)! He just doesn't have the ears that drag the ground.

Isn't this just a precious little image? It's from the Digi Doodle Shop! Go check it out - they have some very cute (and pretty) images. And also check out the Stamps R Us challenge - the theme for the challenge this week is "Nature"! Be sure and add your entry for a chance to win.

I stamped the image and then "shingled" the roof with some strips of brown card stock. The house is colored red with a Copic marker and the little doxie is colored with Prismacolor pencils. I used chalk for the grass and sky.

Thanks for stopping by...............

Lynn

Oh my goodness, this is the cutest little card and image ever :) I love it and I am sure Rambo loves it as well. I like the little doggie bones and the color is just over the top. Hope you had a great weekend and Rambo got to go with you.

Lynn this is fantastic. Love how you did the roof and are those little bone brads? Too cute!!!

I like how you added dimension to the roof. The bone embellishments really tie it all together. Love the stripe and color combo.

Maybe this dog is a basset/doxie mix - long body from dad and long ears from mom :-)

I agree with you that it looks more doxie then basset...but with really long ears! :) I love everything about your card. The bright colors, the texture on the roof, that adorable image and the brads. I almost forgot the pawprint ribbon! Too cute!! Give your little guy, Rambo (great name) a pat from me! :)

Fabulous card Lynn. definitely dachshund - based on the shape of the face and the body is too fine for a basset :-)
this card is adorable. Your shingling is perfect! I would never have thought to do that. The ribbon is, again, the perfect touch!

OMG, this is just the cutest. I am with you about it being a doxie. My neighbor has two that look a lot like this. They're l-o-n-g, too. LOL Love those shingles on your dog house.
