Never Enough Thyme

"Never Enough Thyme" is actually the sentiment that comes with this stamp set - but I didn't use it on this card. I do have another card with this image that I'll be posting in a couple of weeks though that will have the sentiment included...so stayed tuned for that one!

Spring has almost hit South Texas - and I'm so ready for it I could scream! We've had some beautiful weather lately but it'll get cold again I'm sure. This weather really fools you into thinking all that cold is over with - so I want to get out and get my garden planted and just basically "dig in the dirt". I really have to hold myself back though until at least the end of March!

Herbs are one thing we don't really grow much of. I do like a few for certain things though. I thought his stamp set called Sweet Herbs from SU (thanks again Kristin) was just so pretty. I colored the image with Prismapencils. Of course I just had to add that little bitty butterfly from the Beautiful Wings die and I also used the Swirls embossing folder on the white panels.
I'll be entering this card in the challenge at the Rubber Cafe (no patterned paper.

Hope wherever you are - even if the weather isn't nice - you still have a wonderful weekend.

Thanks for stopping by...............
Lynn

Beautiful card, so well colored! It is a card you really cannot stop looking at, gorgeous, love the bright colors. I am so loving the weather, will be almost 80 and now supposed to be in the 70's into next week, but yes I am waiting for that other shoe to drop. Now to get the pool pump fixed which decided to stop just after the freezing weather thank goodness, since it stays on while the cold weather is around to prevent freezing pipes, but I don't want a green pool either. Have an awesome weekend.

So clean, crisp and yet so soft Lynn, and I love the panels at the back. Such a great layout as well. The light blue organza ribbon adds plenty of grace to an already wonderful creation.

I LOVE your cards!

Hugs,

Monica

What a pretty image, Lynn! Your colored it beautifully, as always. i'm still trying to make friends with my Prismapencilsl, lol! I really like that tiny, single butterfly accent, too. Just beautiful! Enjoy your day! :)

Never enough thyme - I love that sentiment! I love herb gardens too, and this card is so pretty with the fabulous way you've colored it! I'm glad you're experiencing warmer weather. It was 71 in PA today, WOW!! That was awesome - but it's back to the wintry chill again tomorrow :)

Absolutely beautiful! This is just so soft and lovely, your shading is spot on -- gorgeous. It's been gettign hot here for a month already and I can smell the hot summer right around the corner - but happy to hear it's warming up for most of the north, won't be long before spring arrives! x0x0

Love this card, Lynn. The stripes look like wallpaper around a window, setting off the potted herbs image. Incredible! Great color and I love the sheer ribbon you chose. Wonderful challenge entry.
