Texas Two-Stepping
The Texas Two Step, Schotish, and Cotton Eyed Joe.....that's what I was doing last Saturday night and having a ball! Yep, hubby and I went dancing. The Texas Two Step, Schotish, and Cotton Eyed Joe are dances we do here in Texas - a little County/Western doe-see-doe-ing! We used to go dancing all the time but hadn't been in a while - we'd hit every bar, dive, and dance hall around...you name it, and we've probably been there. Been to some pretty raunchy places, but oh, how fun! So last Saturday, I got all decked out in my jeans, boots, etc..and away we went. Of course we were all snug in our bed by midnight - and pretty sore the next day, but we did have fun.
This cute little couple (from Art Impressions) looks like they are ready for a little Texas Two-Stepping! I really don't think he looks very excited about it though and she looks like maybe she just had too much BBQ before the dance started.
I'll enter this in the challenge at Art Impression (anything goes).
Hope this puts a smile on your face - and have a great weekend.
Lynn

What a hoot! Love the image and what you've created with it! Mamma definitely needs to push herself away from the table sooner. Great card!
Love it!! This gave me such a big smile this morning. Great job. that image just cracks me up too. I'm not much of a dancer, more of a two left feet kind of gal.
It sure did put a smile on my face... and you bet she has had too much BBQ. Glad that you had fun dancing... wish this boring hubby of mine would come dancing too. I feel it is an immediate spirit lifter - better than spirits of the bottled kind which go and sit right around my waistline. Dancing works the other way... it raises my spirits and reduces my waistline.
Thanks for your email. I hope you can use some of the stuff - it is nothing much compared to the delightful goodies you sent me but just a tiny way of showing my gratitude.

Love it! What a fun image and love the purple dress.
This is too funny, she looks like she had one to many BBQ's and I am not sure what he might be thinking, spin her out the door maybe, but I just love this card and your coloring is amazing since there is quite a bit of open space. I have yet to learn the dances or go dancing, but it sure sounded fun. Have a great weekend.
HA! Just the image alone gave me a belly-laugh. Great coloring on this one!
I love this couple :). They sure put a smile on my face even though they do not have one on theirs. Fabulous card..
i love this image...and dancing is such good exercise...the texas star is a wonderful touch...i can't two-step or schotish very well but i can do a decent cotton-eyed joe...and a boot-scoot...oh and the black cat
Fabulous card and I love the couple, they made me laugh what a hoot of a card. Lovely :)
Lynn, this card is precious. Great coloring, stitching and piercing. I am jealous of you dancing. I love to dance and DH HATES to dance. He says when re retired he will take lessons and in the next breath he state he probably won't retire. I can't complain though as he gives in to everything else, just no dancing. Have a great weekend and rest up for your next night out doing the two step. We don't want you to be too sore. Beautfiul picture of the bird and your card on yesterday's post also.
Ohhhhhhhhh how sweet it is!! I love this, Lynn! What gorgeous coloring and of course, they are super cute :) This is beyond fun - love your fun fridays! x0x0
