SRU Friends

Our challenge, beginning today over at Stamps R Us, is themed Friendship.  Come on over and submit your entry for a chance to win a fabulous prize from our sponsor, Karber
This is just one of the cute images you can find in the Karber store.  Isn't she just the cutest little thing with those great big glasses.  She looks so studious!  I colored her with Copics and am still trying to get that hair coloring down better.....maybe I'll just have to say forget it and go back to the Prisma pencils - which I love.  Ah, but there's nothing like a challenge - so I'll keep trying I guess.  Very simple card using a scrap piece of paper and some pink card stock.  I placed a few rhinestones around the scallop circle since it's pretty much a "girlie" looking card.

Thanks for stopping by and be sure and enter the Stamps R Us challenge!

She is so very cute, Lynn and everything is so delicate and feminine except her studious glasses! Lol... Love that ribbon!

Great colouring as well. Don't give up copics - they are looking so good. the shades in her dress are so visible and the hair is well done, too.

Did you try brass stencilling with the mat? I think a single mat should work ok with some additional cardstock as padding.

I think your coloring is just fine and I can't do the hair well either, can't get the highlighting right, but figure if I practice enough maybe some day. Love the style of your card and the rhinestones, fun card. Can you tell I am back :)
