Whimsy Times Three

I finally broke down a week or so ago and ordered a Memory Box Die!  I wasn't sure if it would work in my Cuddlebug, but it did and I love it.  Now all I have to do is decide what other dies I want from them!   I mean, I NEED them, right!!! LOL
I made three super simple (git 'er done") cards using this die!

For this first one, I left some of the die intact and dotted glue behind it so the little pieces wouldn't fall out.  I used some red texture paper and a CTMH heart that I embossed.  The sentiment is Well Scripted from SU.  (The sewing was a little ratty on the edges - but hopefully you can just over look that!)

The owl on this card was done with the SU punch - that I always forget I have.  Again I used the Whimsy Circle die and punched out all the little pieces.  The sentiment is from Perfect Words - SU. And note the pink lined circle inside the circle.....I used a SU marker on this and finally found out how to do it after chatting with Donna over at Designing Keepsakes.  Super simple and should have been able to figure that one out by myself - what can I say......um...maybe old age creeping in faster than I thought!!

And......I used some purple texture card stock and placed the butterfly from the SU Flores Suaves set in the center.  The sentiment is from the SU Upsy Daisy set and I stamped this in White Craft and then used some white embossing powder.

Enough "whimsy" for today I guess.......Just wanted to show off my new die with some simple cards.

Hope everyone has a great week and thanks for stopping by.............
Lynn

Of course you need more of those dies! Especially when you see how versatile it can be... great use of it Lynn! I have one and it is a snowflake but I keep going to their site and checking them out. Wonder if we could get a volume discount?

I've been admiring these dies and so far haven't given in to the temptation. That's only because I can't decide which one or ones I just have to have. I love this one and the cards you made with it. It gave it a totally different look to leave some of the punchies in. Great idea!

Memory Box is one of my favorite die companies. Love how you left some of the pieces in on the first card - very clever. All three cards are great, yet all so different. Just shows how versatile these dies are.

Lynn, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE each of these. Now you've gone an done it. After seeing your cards, I'm going to have to put in an order for some of these dies. I especially love the card where you left some of the pieces in the die. It really changes up the whole appearance of it. Thanks for the hint about the glue dots on this one. I'll see if my little brain can retain that important little snippit of info. Thanks for the shout out on the edging, but if it wasn't for Carol at Our Little Inspirations I would have never known how to do that. Isn't it nice that we have this great little community of ours? I'm so thankful for all of the tips and tricks I've learned from all of you. Enjoy your evening.
Hugs,
Donna

Oh, these are gorgeous!!!!! Isn't this die wonderful!!!!

That was the first one I bought too! Remember you can change up the look of it too by snipping off some of the loops. You'll get a totally different flower!

The butterfly on the 3rd card is gorgeous! Love that owl on #2 and you go girl with that stitching on card#1

Great job Lynn!!!
