If you've followed my blog for a while you know I NEVER post cards for babies or new arrivals! A while back I was making cards for a baby store (that has since recently closed down) and had to make so many new baby type cards. I have an entire drawer with nothing but baby images.....and never use them anymore. By the time the store shut down I was so tired of making cards for babies I thought I'd scream!!! That's why you never see me post baby cards! I really need to get all those images out though and start using some.
This is a Hero Arts image that came in a set of four different "new arrivals" images. Cute image and I've made a ton of cards using this set. I used a punch that I very seldom use and added lots of pearls, etc. I have no idea where this paper came from but it fit the image!
Thanks for stopping by.......and be sure and check out the Creative Belli Challenge.

Lynn, I tend to make baby cards only when I need them but I have no good excuse for avoiding them! :-D Lovely baby card and I really like that it's a neutral one -- not pink or blue. Great papers and I love the way you matted the image. Fabulous bow, as always.
This is adorable Lynn. Love the yellow and that carriage is just too cute with the little pearls.
Aw, Lynn - such sweet softness! The color scheme just melts my heart! This is so soft and wonderful and warm and a beautiful keepsake for any mommy/mommy to be! LOVELY, lovely job on this one! 0x0x

This is fabulous Lynn, I can understand completely after doing one theme over and over again you begin to not want to do anymore.

I feel your pain for making so many baby cards, but this is just adorable!! I love the colors and papers, and that tiny tag looks sweet with all those bitty pearls!
Looks like my Comcast email is going to be down for quite a while. It's been out all afternoon and it appears to be a nationwide outage, so I'll be checking my gmail frequently for now - promise :)
So very Cute! Love how you draw the eye from the polka dot DSP by using the pearls around the edges of the circle and what fun colors!

It's funny you mention the no baby card thing Lynn because when I first saw this card in my Google Reader, and then saw your name attached to it, I did a double-take. I can normally spot your cards pretty well (it's funny how we all have our own special style), but when I saw this card, I was shocked it was yours and then when I read your post, it all made sense. You're right - you never post baby cards! :)
You really need to though because this is honestly one of my favorites. I love the colors and all the little details. Great job!
Hello Lynn, What an adorable imageand I LOVE the colors. As for me, Im still making baby cards. My brother has a year old baby and another one on the way. Im planning on making the invites for the baby shower. I have a few ideas. Hope they work. TFS
Soo sweet!! I love everything about this card-your layering looks fantastic!
Adorable colors and that big pretty white bow is a lovely accent for a baby card.
Fun colors on this sweet card for baby, Lynn!! How adorable!!
I can see why they wanted you to make the cards this is so cute. I just love the image with that gingham, perfect card. Hope all is well in your neck of Texas, give Rambo a belly rub tell him to look out for snakes. I had bobcat, jump out of the woods right in front of us on our walk, sure got the heart pumping.
I love the yellow and green together. Great job with a baby card. I know what you mean about getting burned out on them. Several years ago I made baby shower invitations for a friend and then several other people wanted me to make theirs. I thought it was a great way to make a little extra craft money, but after a while it wasn't so much fun! I don't think I made a baby card for at least two years after that!
What a sweet baby card! I love the colors and the double circle behind the carriage! And the gingham, polka dots and lace add an interesting background without being too busy.
Lynn, This card is just so delightful. I love the colors and your little pearls add such a sweet touch. I was thinking that Send A Smile 4 Kids is looking for cards for ages 0 - 19, maybe they could use some of your beautiful cards for some newborns in the hospitals. Just a thought.
Such an adorable card - so full of sunshine. Love the colour combo... That reminds me, you sent me some baby stamps too... I made some cards with them and they sold at the first go... so I must make some more. Thanks for the inspiration.
And Zeenya is better now - she should go to school on Monday.
