She's a Star

This is a quick little card I made for my granddaughter Lily.  She's involved in something called DI (Destination Imagination) in school and she and her team recently won at the State level and will be going to Tennessee later on this month to compete in the Global competition.  Of course I'm so very proud of her - and her team.

She loves the bling - like all little girls that are 11 going on 20 - but don't give her anything with pink on it!  So I did the stars in all different colors - but certainly NO PINK!  The sentiment is from SU.  She really is a magnificent little girl -  I know I'm a tad prejudice but that's ok too!

Thanks for stopping by..............
Lynn

Lily is a lucky girl to have such a fabulous grandmother and also to receive this special card. I love all the colors you picked for your stars. The sentiment is out of this world for a grandchild. Great job, Lynn. I'm sure Lily will show this off to all of her team mates and rightfully so. Enjoy your day.

Congratulations to Lily and her team!! Terrific idea to use all the stars, Lynn. The rhinestone bling in the center of each one is perfect. My almost-11-year old GD would be perfectly OK with a little pink, but mostly she likes purple. Think she's in any way related to her Nana?

I have a 12 year old anti-pink girl myself. My 11 year old is still a pink fanatic but the 12 year old is appalled by that colour. Great card. Love the bling on the stars!
