Shopping Our Stash

I'm so excited to let everyone know I was invited to be one of the Design Team members over at Shopping Our Stash - and gladly accepted!

The challenge we have this week is themed Mother's Day - or - Girly.  Be sure and check out the blog and enter your creation - remember, to use some of your "stash"!

I don't think I'm an exception when I say I have too much STUFF!  So for my card today I used some old CTMH paper that I've never used before...both the blue card stock and the patterned paper.  I'm not real sure why I've never used it before since it's such a pretty pattern and color.  I believe it was called Dutch Blue.  Anyway, the image is from the Simply Soft set (SU) - and I've never inked it up before either!  It's a two step stamp so I didn't have to color those little flowers - just stamped them in.  The brad is also from SU and I always forget I have those.  After photographing the card I realized I should have fluffed those butterfly wings out a little.....but as always, what you see, is what you get! LOL!

Thanks for stopping by and be sure and check out Shopping Our Stash and enter your creation!
Lynn

Gorgeous! The paper is wonderful, love the swirls and the added beautiful pink ribbon with the bow. Love the image, so pretty and you can do so much with that one. Have a great day and stay cool, hoping this is not a sample of what is to come this summer.

Congratulations, Lynn! You'll be a great asset to the DT! Can't wait to see what you create with your stash! I'm afraid I'm guilty of having a rather large stash myself and whenever I'm brave enough to go digging, I crawl out absolutely amazed at what I've left buried in there!!! Eeek! That challenge sounds VERY interesting!!

Great card using some of your stash! I love that brad in the center of your bow. I am in the same position with too much stuff. I have been making it a point to look through my older stuff first and have actually been using some of those things that have been here for forever.
