Spotted Owl

I got this entire card completed, snapped a photo of it, and decided the sentiment looked a little strange!  It actually says "just to say hellO", not "just to say hell" and a button!  Although sometimes we probably want to say that instead of hello  LOL!  Ah, what's done is done!

This is an image from Studio G that was in some blog candy I won and am just now getting around to using.  It's a cute little owl - especially with his spindly legs!  I paper pierced it in some new SU paper and added glitter to his eyes along with the googles.   I already had a piece of the red polka dot paper laying on my desk so figured I might as well use some of that too.  He was popped up on dimensionals and I sponged in a little sky behind him.

I'll enter this in the challenge at The Paper Players (Clean and Simple and Polka Dots) and Sentimental Sundays (Whimsical).

Short post here ------but thanks for stopping by..........
Lynn

He is very cute Lynn and I like those googlie eyes. I laughed at your sentiment and did not see anything until you said it but you know, sometimes just saying hell is exactly what we need.

Again with the giggles, man if I am having a bad day, I will just come to your blog. This is adorable and I get the sentiment with the button, no need to change it.

Lynn you are hilarious! I must reassure you that when I looked at your card, both on our entries and in the big form I saw HELLO, not hell! LOL I love your explanation - that is SO funny! Gosh, we are ALL like that eh? No matter HOW beautiful the card, and YOURS is, I love the eyes and the red paper and impressions white behind but especially the paper you used for the owl - it is fantastic - like a rainbow - we are all a tad insecure about what we create once posted. So fear not, it is gorgeous and the button is creative, wonderful and spectacular because it matches the red and white. What could be better. And by the way, send it to someone who it could be hell or hello! lol lol lol (kidding) - well, not really. Thanks for entering your card in SENTIMENTALS this week. It was a joy to read your post and to see your card. Smiles and Joy, Samara - DT

Love your card, Lynn! The patterned owl is just fantastic (loving his googly eyes, too). Great layout, and yep, I read it as "Hello", but I got a chuckle out of your post and there are sometimes I could really use a " just to say hell" card.

Well, your explanation left a big smile on my face, but all I saw was "Hello"! ;-D Love the polka dots and this definitely meets the Whimsical requirement. I'm amazed at how well the red button matched the red lettering, and I love the texture of the embossed bg. Terrific eyes for the owl, Lynn. I love it all!
