Kicking Off The Holidays

Happy Ho, Ho, Ho!!!  I thought I'd start the holidays off right and give you a Funny Friday!!!  Just once I'd like to be able to dress like this for Christmas - to give everyone a thrill.  I'm thinking I'd be their very favorite elf!!!

The stamp I used is from Art Impressions and I love this little gal!   I colored her with Copics, added a bit of Liquid Applique to her hat and rhinestones to her shoes and earrings.  This card got a little "busy" real quick - maybe it's just too much red and green and that patterned paper.

Jim took one look at the card and said she looked just like his sister!  YIKES!  He's already got dubs on it and will send it to her this year!   She really does have a sense of humor though so think it's going to be ok.

Thanks for stopping by...............
Lynn

You would be my favorite elf, that's for sure. Great coloring job and I like the faint green snowflakes in the background. I don't think it is too busy at all, just fun filled. Enjoy your weekend.

I'm not sure it's "busy", Lynn, but it is fabulous! Great coloring and that image has to be one of the best I've seen this season. My kinda gal! I think your paper choices and the embossing just set everything off. Did you ink a few of the snowflakes on the embossed piece? Very subtle but so effective.

I don't think it looks busy at all. It is perfect! (And, I know that this artists names all of her stamps. If I remember correctly this one is Vera? I have the stamp of her in non-holiday attire. But... I do know that she does like bling. So she would really like what you did with her outfit!!)
