It's Not A Funny Friday.....however.....

I know it's not Friday and I'll get to that in a minute........

But first wanted to tell you that we start another {Pin}spirational Challenge today! Our sponsors for this challenge are Kitty Bee Designs AND Cardmadfairy!  Yep, two wonderful sponsors.  So, come on over and play along this week - we'd love to have you.

I used some DP from "who knows where" and a little Paper Smooches image.  Look at the expression on this little guys face!  Cute, right!!

Here's our {Pin}spirational inspiration photo for you this week.  Isn't he just a dapper looking little guy!!

Now, on to why it's not a Funny Friday - however.............Thought you'd enjoy a short (no pun intended here) story about our little doxie - Rambo................
Right before Christmas Jim decided to do some caulking in the bathroom shower.  Keep in mind that Jim is NOT at painter - or a caulker!!!  He'd been in there forever just working away and I decided I'd better go check on him.  He had caulking all over the bathroom floor, his pants, hair, and shoes!  Geeze....... I looked at Rambo and he was laying on the bed on his back with all four legs straight up in the air, snoozing away - and his entire underside (you know where I'm talking about here I'm sure), feet, and tail were completely covered in caulking!!!!  I was able to get a little off his tail and feet - but that was it.  Of course it had already dried solid as a rock.  So, for the last three weeks, our "little man" has been running around with white caulking all over his "privates" and not really caring one way or another about this!  NOT a pretty site at all!!   A tiny bit of it is starting to wear off some - just hope he doesn't have to go to the vet anytime soon so I have to give some type of explanation!!!

Thanks for stopping by......and check out our {Pin}spriational Challenge!

Oh boy...I am really, really glad that we don't have the only dog that gets into such jams. Abby had purple paint all over her head for a while (courtesy of a kid's project left at ground level).
Love your card - and that pup - and that fun layout :)

ROFL, Lynn! I've literally been holding my sides for 5 minutes before I could stop laughing long enough to type a comment for you. Just too funny. Poor Rambo. OK, now putting the last of the giggles to rest (I think), I love the card! Wonderful that you made your inchies of paper resembling the bow tie in the inspiration photo. Where did you find an orange ink pad for the sentiment? Or did you use a marker on the stamp? That's the cutest little doggie image ever. OK, now I'm laughing again!

The little guy on your card is adorable nd I love the font for the sentiment. Great idea to put the sentiment where you did. Poor Rambo. Isn't it amazing how they can just adapt to all sorts of situations. You should have taken a picture of him laying on the bed in all his glory and caulk.

LOL! Poor Rambo! I think you should take a picture and send it to the manufacturer with the statement "This stuff sticks to ANYTHING!" Who knows, he may even get an acting gig! :)

Your card is wonderful and the little pooch is so cute!

Don't know who to feel worse for Jim or Rambo! I feel your pain - my hubby too...not too handy.... Great with a computer problem - need a motherboard replaced...no problem. Ask him to wield a paintbrush? Not such a good idea. A better idea than plumbing...he HATES plumbing!
Can't imagine a dog dipped in caulk...that's a good one! Never a dull moment....

Hi Lynn, I've been a bit behind (Uh-gin) with blog surfing, so trying to make a few visits round today. Loved your Rambo story and how perfect with your cute card. Their expressions are delightful. (or maybe that wasn't Rambo in the picture! Well, he's still cute). I hear you about the handyman stuff. I got one of those too. But he tries, so I try to be appreciative ..even when the project doesn't always turn out right. Hey, you gotta applaud the effort..grit your teeth, clean up the mess! Hugs. And thanks for the smile today.
