Dreaming of What!

Spring hasn't sprung around here yet, but hopefully I can egg it on a bit with my card!

Jim saw this as I was taking a picture and asked "Dream, what?"  Lynn - What do you mean, dream, what?  Jim - Well, where's the rest of the sentiment - you know, like dream a little dream, dreaming of football, dreaming of swim suit models, etc.....(Eye Rolls!!!)  .Finally, I just told him you had to be a female to understand!  (That's ALWAYS a good response to a male!!!!)  So, in case you don't know what I'm talking about by just putting "dream" on my card, it means I'm dreaming of spring!!  I need green leaves, grass, warm temps, birds, butterflies, flowers, etc.....But, until then - here's my card!

All the images I used on this card are from stamps at The Alley Way Stamps.  The two sets I used for this were Crazy Critters and Tweet Spots. Cute stamps and a fun card to do.

I'll enter this in the inspiration challenge at The Alley Way Stamps.

Thanks for stopping by.............and have a great weekend!
Lynn

Well, this is just a terrific one layer card (well, you know - except for the ribbon).

It's just so crisp and the layout is perfect!

Maybe it really is a 'female' thing, Lynn. I understood immediately but my SIL, who is visiting briefly, didn't. lol Wonderful, fun card! I adore the simplicity, not only of the design but of the images and sentiment.

Great card, and I totally get it!! Seeing a bird on the fence means spring is right around the corner and I too am dreaming of spring. Your conversation with the hubs cracked me up! LOL Men are from Mars and women are from Venus, and never shall the two minds meet! LOL

Well Lynn, if men didn't have us, they wouldn't understand commercials either. I can't tell you how many times I've been asked what 'that means' on a commercial.
I love this CAS card... I like the simplicity of it, it is primitive but then it's not, those clouds and that single sentiment says everything!

This card is very sweet. I love the real looking fence with green grass below and blue sky above. The little birdie looks so cute. And DREAM, just DREAM is a perfect sentiment.
I have just gotten back yesterday from Singapore and am not able to put my head to making a card. But I will.Hope you are well.

I knew exactly what you meant! Just shows that we don't need everything spelled out for us! Swim suit models... pffft! Chocolate, sure, but never models that remind us of what we WON'T look like if we wear one...

The gingham ribbon is perfect for your springy card, and that little bird is too cute!
