Off To Boot Camp

No, I haven't joined up - um.... don't think they'd take me at this age (THANK GOODNESS!!!).  I wouldn't last five minutes there!!!   This is going to a very sweet young man that IS in Army boot camp right now and thought he would probably like getting a little mail and a "cheer me up" card.

I used the sketch from CAS(e) this Sketch, added some stars, twine, and did the whole card up on Kraft card stock.  I didn't add many extras to it at all since I don't think guys really like all that "stuff" on cards.

Thanks for stopping by....................
Lynn

Some gals aren't so keen on a load of 'stuff' on cards either Lynn and this is perfect for either gender that don't! How kind of you to think of that sweet young man and I'm sure it'll cheer him up.

The patriotic colors against that neutral gray, perfect. The simplicity you manage to achieve, while still making such a pretty card, always awes me. CAS is hard to do, & make it look WOW. You always do. Your young friend will love this, that you thought of him, and please tell him thank you from me, for his service to our country. HUGS
