Washi-ng

My mini break was good and think I may be taking these more often now.  Maybe it's good to just step away from it all for a couple of days.   Slowly but surely I'm getting that bolt of lightening to hit and get some more mojo-soho.  If I haven't gotten by your blog yet, I will......it's taking me a while to make all the rounds.

Clean and simple is the word on this card.  I know that everyone is making Father's Day cards around this time, but thought I'd do a Happy Birthday one instead.  The mustache stamp is from the Simon Says Stamp card kit and sentiment from Stampabilities.  The tape is some I picked up over the weekend.  I've never used (or owned)  any washi tape before and picked up a couple of rolls this past weekend just to see what all the fuss was about.  I like it, but then again, I like all the cool supplies out there! The white background is embossed with a Texturz plate from SU - a very subtle pattern that's great for masculine cards.

I'll enter this in the Simon Says Stamp challenge - anything masculine/Father's Day.

Thanks for stopping by................
Lynn

Lynn, I'm behind on commenting also. Just things going on - - - The very first thing I saw when I looked at this card was that little heart. How darling. Your whole card came out very nice. Glad you had a relaxing weekend away from blogland. I think it's a good idea for all of us to do from time to time. Enjoy the rest of this week.

I love this card, Lynn. What a fun mustache! Greta red and white color combo. I guess I'll have to break down and find some washi tape. I keep seeing it everywhere but have never seen it in my local craft stores. Now you have me on a hunt for it. :-D
