Bright and Colorful

This doesn't look very bright in the photo but it really is a pretty good eye-opener as far as brightness goes.  The problem was that I finally finished this CAS card after about 2 hours (yes, I know, I'm SLOW) and by the time I could get outside to snap a pic, it was already 8:00 p.m. last night!!  I guess I should have waited until this morning but then I've never been known for my patience.  I figured, hey, I got it finished finally so by George I'm going to take a picture of it!

I used the Daisy die from SU and the "thanks" from Memory Box.  Never realized how small that little "thanks" was since I'd never used it before!  The snippets of DP and card stock are from my scrap box.  And yes.........in case you haven't already noticed, I fired up my sewing machine and attempted to stitch a straight line - thank goodness most of that "straight" line is covered up by the flower!

Today is going to be my day to craft!  I'm so tired of life getting in the way of all my fun....so told Jim I was putting on my grubs (as I do anyway on most days) and hole up in my little room.  He has instructions to not require me to do anything (ANYTHING) and not bug me!  It's going to be very interesting to see how the day pans out. LOL!

Thanks for stopping by...............
Lynn

Oh, this is so bright and cheery, and your stitching looks just fine to me!
I am the same way with pictures, although I have to admit mine is less lack of patience, and more forgetfulness... If it doesn't happen when the card is finished, I may never get the photo! I hope Jim honored your wishes and you had a wonderful crafting day! I'm hoping to have one tomorrow!

I'm looking forward to hearing how your day went! The kids seem to have gotten the hang of "leave me alone on Fridays." That's awesome :) Hubbies are much harder to train that way ;)
I happen to love the stitching! And all the bright flags - awesome colour combo!

Love it!! What a great daisy die! The "Thanks" die cut is fab too. LOL on the stitching straight - I wouldn't have a prayer. Glad that you got a chance to hole up in your room, laundry stamper, and NOT do laundry!! Woo Hoo!

How did I miss this one? Must be because Google Reader no longer exists and I can't follow you via e-mail. :-( Is there any way I can encourage you to add that "Follow by E-mail" option to your blog?
Anyway, I adore the dp banner pieces all lined up and stitched. What a great effect! Wonderful daisy and that metal center is perfect. Is that a brad? I love the look of it, whatever it is. :-D

Another bright and wonderful card, Lynn! Was your Mister able to keep himself occupied w/o bugging you? I haven't been able to train mine to LMTHA! Hopefully figuring that out won't irritate you too much!! Since our circumstances are somewhat similar, you might get it right off the bat!!

Hi Lynn

This is lovely - so bright and cheerful too. Plus you got the sewing machine out - crumbs, well done!

I've just been looking through Mr Linky here and think, only think, you tried to link a card. Did a search on your blog and as you mentioned snippets I'm linking this card for you right now!

Hugs, Di xx

Forgot to comment on the neat stitching too. Good for you firing up that machine. All I've done is bring one down to the stamp room, and there it sets! Hugs
