Git 'er Done Christmas Card

Everyone seems to be Christmas cards right now - and I just think it's too hot to even think about!  I really had good intentions to make all my cards early this year but it's not happening.......so decided I'd better get with the program a little.  I cranked up (or down - however you want to look at it) the AC and got this one done.  It's a start anyway.

Very CAS using the Swiss Dots embossing folder an Impression Obsession die.  Added some Garden Green card stock as a snippet behind the tree and some green ribbon that matched.  The sentiment is from Stampabilities.  I didn't even add any bling or anything like that.   Oh, I used a Quickie Glue pen by Sakura to attach the white part to the green tree.  Mary had sent this to me in some blog candy I'd recently won and let me tell you.........this is worth it's weight in gold!  I didn't have glue all over my desk, hands, hair, on on the dog!  Fabulous little tool to have.  Anyway, the card is completed and it's a done deal!

I'll enter this in the challenge at Twisted Tuesday (Christmas - twist of CAS).

Thanks for stopping by.................AND .......I see a Fun Friday on the horizon!
Lynn

So simple, but so elegant! Love it in just green and white. (This would be easy to mass produce if you get in a crunch).

What a great start on your Christmas cards, Lynn! That die cut tree is sensational and that quickie glue pen is the perfect tool to stick it together! I always pick up a new one when I get to Archiver's!

This is a fab Christmas card, Lynn. Love the white crispness of it with the embossing. This embossing folder is EVERGREEN, isn't it? And I love your diecut Christmas tree and green ribbon. CAS is best always.
Love,
M

Weather is definitely the hardest thing for me to overcome getting xmas cards done early! There just needs to be that chill in the air....if it comes from AC well I guess that'll do too ;) And yep, I love my Quickie glue pen too - those things rock.

Love this clean & sharp looking green & white theme you've got going here. Hmm..do I have that die? It's gaw-jus, and very striking with the green behind it. My fav all time EF too. Nice touch with the extra border tied with the green grosgrain ribbon ...beautiful card. Stay in that a/c. We were 74 today, and rain. TFS & Hugs.

I love the green and white combo, Lynn, and the tree is marvelously done! I keep forgetting that I have one of those glue pens. This is a reminder that I should go dig it out and put it in a prominent place on my desk. :-D

Hi there. I love your card. Could you tell me what the die is called and where you got it? I cant seem to find anything like it. Thanks.

Love the card - had to hunt down the die

The Christmas tree die is actually an impression obsession die called Fancy tree die set
