That Gator-ish Look

We have another challenge starting today at Digi Haven and would love to see you play along.  Our theme this time is Green - Use Three Shades of Green (at least).   We're being sponsored by Beccy's Place who also provided the images for this challenge.  Check out our blog for all the rules and all the wonderful inspiration from the DT.  Of course there's a prize package for the winner too.

I used Crocodile Baby for this card along with some patterned paper from "somewhere".  As far as green......no telling how many shades are on here but I do know there's more than three.  He's colored with Intense pencils to give him more of a gator-ish look and then I added faux stitching and twine to complete. Take note of those pink toenails on Mr. Gator - or actually I should say Ms. Gator with the pink bow and all too!

I'll enter this in the challenge at Pinspirational Challenges (inspiration photo) and Cards in Envy (Think Green Challenge).

Thanks for stopping by...........
Lynn

Just too cute, Lynn. I see Ms Gator has been for a manicure and a pedicure. Lucky Girl!!! I like your faux stitching and all those wonderful dots on the paper.

Well, she does walk on all fours so I guess it is just a pedicure. Ha

Well this is the first time I've seen a gator all dolled up. She cleans up nice - - - Or at least your version does. She is darling with her painted toenails and bow. The background paper is ideal and your gator-ish look is much better than any other I've seen. LOL Enjoy your weekend.

Being an ex-Floridian, I'm not drawn to gators at ALL! But now this little missie is quite alright. Love her toenails & her frilly pink bow. Cute image and you did a fine job with those pencils. Great stitching trim and the little polka dot paper is very sweet for this girlie gator. Well done, my friend. TFS, Hugs & Happy Wkend.

Normally, I wouldn't want any gators marching into my living room but she's just so adorable with her big bow and pink toenails, I think I'll let her in. :-D Fabulous card, Lynn, and I love the big polka dots! Nice touch with the twine, too.

She's a cutie and your card is so happy. I'm noticing that Miss Gator has very blunt teeth so I'm thinking she's a nice gator, probably a vegetarian who like hummus.
