Last of the Liter

This is the last of the liter on Halloween cards for this year.  I actually made two more but doubt if I'll post them.  It's not even October yet and I'm already tired of Halloween!  Yep!  Not my favorite time of year but I do like to make a card to send to the grands.  I got them done early this year too!  Whoop!!!

I know this is terribly clean and simple but it just is what it is.  I used a Penny Black stamp (that I think is entirely too cute) and a scrap of Halloween type patterned paper.  A bit of twine, the sentiment, and it's a done deal.

Also going to try something a little different around here too.  I'm spending more time looking at everyone's blogs, commenting, wishing I could do that, and not attempting to do any crafting!  So, it's time for a change. I'm busy enough as it is with Jim most days and things that have to be done around here, so I'm going to pull a disappearing act.  Maybe I'll get some mojo and make a couple of cards in the next few days then.  I'll see everyone when I see you again.  I know I'm going to miss some wonderful creations, but feel I just have to do this for myself.  It's all just gotten a little overwhelming.  I've tried to keep up with everything but it just isn't happening any more.  Hope you understand.

Thanks for stopping by.......
Lynn

I love "terribly clean and simple" and this card is no exception. I love that little kitty and the paper is ideal for this one. I'm glad you are going to take some time off. I love to see your precious cards, but I know how hard it is for you to try to do everything. You've done a lot more than I could hope to get done with your circumstances right now. Blogging does take up a lot of time. Just concentrate on taking care of yourself, Jim and Rambo, that is all that matters.

I totally understand where you are coming from, Lynn. Do the things that feel right for you and your family. Do what brings peace and rest and joy to you and yours. Sending hugs and prayers and love always!

I think we may be on the same wave length in more ways than one. I hope I finished my last Halloween card for a grandchild today, too. Yours is adorable. Mine is kind of creepy for a college kid!

Definitely understand, Lynn! I get overwhelmed with it myself some days and I'm up half the night either crafting or leaving comments because there just aren't enough hours in the day! But on a happy note, your CAS card is awesome! I bet you knew I'd love it - there's a kitty! There are still a lot of kitty stamps I don't have - this one is adorable!

Wishing you all the best on your blog hiatus. Hope you get some crafting time and I hope things with Jim are improving.

Lynn, this card is super sweet! I love your idea to craft and blog when you can - I was just thinking the other day the trend of blogging is in cycles. You're a heavy duty blogger :) I'm a catch me in between my kids! I'm sure we'll see you sooner rather than later :)
Blessings!

This is such a cute and simple card - it's pure fun all the way! I understand your having to make decisions to manage your time, and it's fine! Just poke your head in the door now and then to let us know you're OK, and we'll be waiting until you have some free time! ((hugs))

I understand and I'm sure everyone else does, too, Lynn. It's difficult to do it all and find a balance, especially when you are a care-giver and a lot of your creative energy is spent worrying about your loved one. I applaud you for listening to your inner hamster and doing what is best for you! Just don't disappear forever, please!! Hugs, Darnell

I love this Halloween kitty and how the DP jazzes it all up! I totally understand about needing time off from commenting. The creating time is important for your sanity. You don't have to comment on my blog every time you take a look. I'm fine with hit and run and do a lot of that myself. I put it out there for you to enjoy not to collect comments. Have some creating fun, my friend.

Lynn, this is such an adorable Halloween kitten and I'm so glad you shared it with us. :-D I can imagine that you're feeling a bit overwhelmed by this time and completely understand the need to take some time away from visiting, commenting, reviewing -- we'll all be here for you when you need us.
I will miss your posts, my friend, but do what's best for you and Jim for a while. Just don't forget to find some time just for you, too. Hugs, NC

Fun card Lynn, I like the cute image, great for the Grands! I totally understand that overwhelmed feeling! Between working long days and then having to come home and take care hubby and most the house stuff too can be exhausting. That is why I don't always make the commenting rounds. Take care of yourself and rest, its best for you and Jim both! We will all miss seeing your great creations, But most important is for you to take time to regroup! I will be praying for you my friend! Take care :)

Totally understand, Lynn. I am sure you have noticed that I am not posting as often. The blogging part has been dragging me down. I love to sit at my desk and create, but then here they sit. Having been caregiver a few times in my life, I know the exhaustion that comes with it. Please take care of yourself. Remember this is a hobby, and it is suppose to be fun. As much as I love your PB card, and the sweet Halloween sentiment, I will miss your creations. Do your very best to go slow. Sending a warm PA hug.

That image is just sooo cute and puuurfect for a CAS Halloween card!! :) I completely understand where you're coming from! It DOES take lots of time to leave comments and sometimes I feel like it's something that I need to do especially when someone leaves me a comment, but sometimes you just have to do what you need to do!! :) Hope you find peace and are able to find yourself in your crafting and do what you need to do to be happy with it!! SENDING HUGS and best wishes!

You just can't beat a PBlack stamp any way you look at it. This one is delightful, and great coloring (of course), but I also like that border paper. And you do need to take whatever time you need to get yourself rejuvenated from all ya'll have dealt with over the past months. You can only run on energy for so long, then gotta recharge the batteries. Hope you will get some time for whatever makes you feel happy, relaxed and rested. We'll all be here when it's time to return (and I've not made one fall or Halloween card at all. Doubt if I shall get any done now either) TFS & Hugs

Wonderful! Love that kitty image. It's completely understandable that you need time for yourself. I've found it hard to do everything too (and my commenting on my favorite blogs has definitely been lacking!) Being a caregiver is hard, so always take time for YOU.
