I really, really, REALLY wanted to slap a few sequins on here - but since this will be the card that Rambo gives Jim for his birthday later this year I was told (by Rambo of course) that was NOT a guy thing and not add them! We always do what our little four legged friends want!
I used a recently purchased Hero Arts image on this along with some textured blue card stock, strips of patterned paper scraps, and a Simon Says Stamp sentiment.
This is my take on the sketch from the challenge at Sugar Pea Designs and I'll enter it in their challenge. They really have some cute stamps.
Thanks for stopping by........

ohhhhhh, this is such a cute card, and perfect for Rambo to give Jim! He's one smart doxie to avoid the sequins too! LOL I really like how you colored and fussy cut this image, and used it with those striped panels of dsp! Arfee Arfeeeee to Jim (that's doggie speak for happy birthday) :)
This is so absolutely adorable!! I would have struggled not to add sequins, too, but I think Rambo made the right choice!! It looks fabulous!! Have a great day :)

This is a perfect stamp for Rambo! I think maybe a couple of sequins would be fun. But then, I'm not a guy.
Great take on the sketch! Love that sweet puppy! I think Rambo was right that it doesn't need any sequins!
Jim will be thrilled when he sees Rambo's card. It is so darn cute. I love it when you put sequins on your card, but I can see Rambo's point to leave them off of this particular card. Hope you are having a good day.
It's a perfect Rambo card, Lynn! I'm sure he's right about the sequins but maybe a little confetti? lol Love it all, my friend.
Absolutely adorable, Lynn!
I love this and I'm sure Jim will as well. So you and Rambo are talking back and forth to each other huh....Hummm...lol Hugs, joann
Rambo surely has you on the hope t=with this card Lynn, but together you have made it a stunner.

Your birthday card is adorable and I know Rambo approved and Jim will love it.
Here is another case of me thinking I had commented, and oops, I didn't! This sweet doxie set is in the lineup here to get inked. How very precious your card is. It looks amazing, Lynn.
Adorable card! Funny comment about the sequins! Love the heart and the coloring. Many hugz
on the other hand, having seen rambo's cards... (he's GREAT at distressing and paper-piercing, lol!!!) ...i'd totally favor your design sense over his!!! surely blue or grey sequins would be considered manly enough, lol??!? :) :) :)
Hehehe this made me smile :) fun and adorable card !
This is such an awesome card- love your DP too. I have to tell you, every time I see a doxie I think of you : )
Super cute card and I'm pretty sure if Rambo says sequins aren't a guy thing, well... maybe they aren't but I don't think either of them would have minded.
Adorable doxie with all the gifts piled up and I like the heart embellie and love the textured paper.
So cute and seems pretty calm with all those gifts on him.
