Better Blue Than Bald

From about the time my kids were able to talk they've always called me "that old blue hair" and if you notice,  this little guy on my card has a blue tint!  Scary!.  I'm not so sure if my hair is gray, blue, or white now.  Guess that comes with being "elderly" as my son told me this year on my birthday.  Where do these kids come from anyway!   Surely they couldn't belong to me.   Anyway, I actually had it 'colored' at the beauty shop for several years but then stopped because it just wasn't me.  So now what you see is what you get.  As far as being "elderly"......um......I told my son he was going to be there someday too - and yet he's going to be bald.  Better blue than bald - right!!

Yep, I made another card using one of those cute stamps from Taylored Expressions.  I attempted to 'ground' him using a brown Copic and that turned into a wreck, so added some 'grass'.  You gotta have a little dirt in order to grow grass anyway.  Oh, and yes.....he's colored with a gray (not blue) Copic!

Thanks for stopping by.......have a nice weekend........and remember to SMILE!
Lynn

Adorable! I still color mine, but I may have to stop. Hubby liked my dark hair. (and told me to stop coloring my hair) But there is NO dark hair anymore (according to my hairdresser! smile. It's probably all gray now.

Now THIS is funny! That's what Mr. will say to me when I complain that my hair is not cooperating "Better bad than bald". This is a darling image, love him with the little tint of blue (and we called 'em "Q-tips" when we lived in Florida and were younger! Love those grouchy frown marks too. Your grounding dirt looks great behind the grass. Good job!!! Thanks for a big smile this afternoon. Hope all is well at the Rancho there. Hugs

I'd much rather be blue than bald. I like your way of thinking with the dirt/grass example. This is a real cute card, I love the expression on his little face. I think your hair is GORGEOUS! I wish mine would come in that color instead it is three different shades of grey and some white while still holding on to a tiny bit of a terrible shade of brown. Have yourself a good weekend, Lynn.

Love the card and the story. No blue, brown green, purple, black or red hair here. Only white. Despite what the photo on my blog shows I have much of my hair yet. LOL.

Love, Hugs and Blessings

Love the card, Lynn, but love your story of gray hair vs no hair even more. Too funny! I seem to take after my mother who was just beginning to get gray when she passed at the age of 86. My dad, on the other hand, was salt and pepper gray at 22 and never got bald! :-D

I always try to justify my oopsies.... grass indeed needs dirt to grow. Blue, grey or whatever.....it's a cutie!

I can so relate to the hair coloring! When I turned 60 I said pfft! No more of this nonsense. I'm old as dirt and may as well look like it! LOL What a funny card Lynn - he may be a hare, but he reminds me of grumpy cat! Fun stuff :)
