My Crazy Life

Fist of all, thanks to everyone for hanging in there with me.  I'm feeling somewhat better.  In other words - the back, butt, leg  - whatever, are still there and healing.  I start physical therapy in the next couple of weeks and hopefully it'll just keep on improving.

It's taken me a while to get back over here - and it's going to get even longer I'm afraid.  My internet went nutty over a couple of weeks ago and that automatically sets a person in a tailspin.  I was able to at least see emails over my oldddddddd phone but that was about it.  I won't be here much at all though and wanted to let everyone know.

If things can't get better sometime, of course they only going to get worse.  The internet issue ended up being one of those very minor things in life.   I won't even begin to go into any of the details at all, but did want to let everyone know that Jim and I (and Rambo) are headed to different digs (moving).  Not far at all - just a different location here in the area.  Sounds like no big deal, right..........What a joke!!!  We've been here for years and just going through all the crap (yes, I said that) is mind boggling.  I'm trying to do one room at a time but it's very slow going of course.  I'll eventually get it done ( but may be 100 years old when it's actually finished).   I haven't even started the crafting area.  Scared to!

Anyway, all is well, and like I said, I'll be back at some point in time.  Missing everyone............and all your wonderful projects.

Thanks for stopping by.............
Lynn

Hello Lynn! Thanks for the updates! I'm sorry you are still having issues and hope that the therapy can help with that...especially if you are going to moving! Moving is so much work and the longer you live at a place, it seems the more you have accumulated! Wishing you all the best and hope that you enjoy and calm and peaceful Holiday Season my friend! HUGS

Thinking of you, Lynn, and I hope all goes well with the move!! It's so hard when you've lived in one place for so long. You don't realize the things you accrue!! I'm so glad you are feeling better. Have a wonderful December!! Big hugs :)

Oh Lynn - I know how difficult that decision must have been, and also how difficult it is to move - having done it lots. You are in my prayers

I'm so sorry to hear of another set back. We moved a few years ago after 27 years in one house. It was mind boggling! It turned out to be a good thing that the housing market was so bad. I got the things I thought we needed in the new digs and little by little found out what had been left behind that I couldn't do without and what I could. I hope your move brings you blessings. Hang in there my friend.

Lynn, I am so sorry to hear that you haven't been feeling well. That is no fun at all! Moving?? OMG! I think about moving to a smaller house someday, but then I think about packing up all of this "stuff" and decide we can live here for a while longer! I can't even think about where I would begin in my scrap room! Good luck to you! Have a wonderful Christmas! Stay well!!

Wish I could help you Lynn, but know you, Jim and Rambo are in my thoughts and prayers!!! And one prayer is that you have many hands to make moving easier on you as well as someone who can take the "crap" to a donation or recycling center for you! Big, big hugs my friend! Brenda

Lynn, the thought of moving for anyone in our age group is terrifying with all the "stuff" we've accumulated thought out the years. Those of us who are crafters have so much more than "regular" people that is it not describable. When I had to clean out just my craft room to have new carpeting put in I thought I'd go crazy so I can't imagine you doing the whole house. I only wish I was closer to help you out because I know how hard it will be with that back/leg of yours. Just know I'm thinking of you and helping in my heart.
Hugs,
Donna

Thanks for the update Lynn, and I'm so glad to know there is improvement with your back! Hopefully the physical therapy will get you back to kickin' again and real soon too! So sorry you're having to pack up and move, especially when you're not feeling your best. For my craft room, I'd do well to hire a demolition crew to get that task done! LOL
Wishing you continued good health and the strength to do what needs to be done. Missing you too Lynn, but take care of yourself in the meantime!

Thanks for the update!

Hope by now you are feeling much better, and I hope moving goes easy for you. I understand where you are coming from. We are living in our very first home that we purchased just a few years after we were married. The longer you are in a place the more you seem to accumulate. If I was told I had to move right now I would be in a total panic attack.

Lynn, glad to hear that you are doing somewhat better and will be starting PT soon. I hope that will be the catalyst for getting you back to feeling better and back to crafting. I can't imagine having to pack up my stamp room. I wish I could be there to help you. I wish you much happiness in your new place and look forward to hearing from you soon.

Computer issues here, too, so I'm just getting a chance to respond, Lynn. I am glad to hear that you are ambulating better, but OMG, a move? Now? I'm downhearted that I am not able to be there to help because I'm one of those weirdos who loves doing this sort of thing! You have to just be totally dispassionate about it and do what the experts say and sort it on first glance without thinking into three piles: keep, give away, and trash. No sitting back and thinking about it for 15 minutes with each thing, haha! My sister is going through the same thing and we realized that, you know, in the end if we live long enough, we all end up in one room. Sad, but hey, it's the truth. So thinking ahead to that day really has helped her go through the process and purge.

Anyway, you didn't ask for my advice so I'll toddle off and let you get on with it. I know you will be missed while you are away, but I'll be in touch outside of Blogland and we'll all be here waiting for you when you get things settled. I'm keeping you in my prayers, especially that you don't overdo it and reinjure yourself! Love and hugs, Darnell

Sorry to hear you are still not feeling well Lynn. On top of that you are moving, it is so hard to pack everything up and then unpack at the new place.

I am wishing you best of luck.

What a huge task to face during the holidays, Lynn! The older we get, the harder the moves get. Wishing you strength and lots of helping hands as you sort through your life and prepare for the future. Sending hugs and prayers across the miles and wishing you the very best.

Just popping in to wish you the best in your move, Lynn! Having moved just 2 years ago and then having to pack everything up and move out temporarily earlier this year because of water damage repairs, I know exactly what you mean about all the stuff a person(s) accumulate! I hope all goes well! Sending hugs and glad to hear your injuries are healing! Take care and Happy Holidays to you and Jim and Rambo!
