I'm just sharing a couple of cards I did the other day using some alcohol inks. I like how the pieces seem to all turn out different. I don't have many of the inks but they're still fun to use. On this first one I just added a big "celebrate" die cut from MFT (I think that's where it's from and am basically too lazy to get up and go check that for sure).
Another very simple card using a small piece of an alcohol ink background I made. On this one I added a butterfly die cut - and once again I don't remember who made it and laziness kicked in on getting up to look! The sentiment is from Hero Arts though. See.....my mind isn't totally shot yet. YEA!
Thanks for stopping by............

I have so many bottles of alcohol inks and have no idea how to achieve this look, but wowsah! Both cards are GORGEOUS!! I just love the purples, blues and bits of pink and lavender on the butterfly card! It's a classic beauty, along with the first one too! Nice work on both!
Gorgeous cards Lynn, love the big sentiment on the top one. The colours are fabulous, Cathy x
WOW Lynn, these are awesome!! I LOVE how bold and colorful your first card is and what an awesome CAS design on your second card! Two stunning cards!

Live both of these cards Lynn! Your backgrounds turned out amazing. Did you use yupo paper or photo paper? Gotta get mine out and have a play as I'm loving yours!! Hugs, Brenda
I love what you do with those alcohol ink backgrounds, Lynn! What a perfect way to showcase lovely die cuts.
I love Alcohol inks and make a lot of pieces whenever I have time to take them out and create with them : ) SO FUN to see you playing with them, and I love your use of dies on them. Beautifully done!
Love the butterfly card Lynn - and like you there are times I just don't want to "get up and go look". Your first card is really dramatic - love it

Bold and beautiful cards, Lynn!
You have picked the perfect sentiment for this first card! The colors speak CELEBRATE! What fun! My CAS self loves the second card with the beautiful alcohol background that shows the delicate butterfly perfectly!
Oh wow, I love these. I love how the inks just do their thing and mingle like they did on both cards. The first card is so vibrant, it does scream Celebrate. Great design by cutting the panel down to be the focal point with the butterfly. Great cards!
Yes, I know! I need to get more alcohol inks!! These are fabulous, Lynn!!!
Oh my... someone was playing! Two great clean and simple cards.
I love that purple price of ink! So petty. Both cards are lovely!
These are sensational alcoholic ink makes, Lynn! You got some stunning results and showcased them to their best advantage! I especially love the solitary bold sediment so that all the AI background can shine through!! Hugs! Darnell
How bright, vibrant and awesome these cards are. I too am having lots of fun creating my own backgrounds. Not laid my hands on alcohol inks yet.
Love the happy tones here,
Monica
Easy to see you're having a lot of creative play days with these inks. And you're turning out some beautiful looks too. #1 is just bold and gorgeous. Love the idea of adding the bold white sentiment, very striking. And I really liked the CAS with the butterfly over the softer blue & lavender. At least you're using your lovely backgrounds so nicely. YAY! TFS & Hugs
Wow what gorgeous colors and designs Lynn.
Hugs Diane
