I had no plans whatsoever to put a critter on this card. I really didn't! In fact, as I was making the card I was so pleased with myself for NOT even thinking of having a critter on it. I know you don't get to see those very often at all. However......as you can see, there's the critter (but it's a cute one so it's perfectly fine I think).
Anyway.......this is my take for the MFT Sketch Challenge. I used some VERY unknown where did it come from designer paper. (I'm thoroughly convinced it breeds in the craft room). The little dog is from Gerda Steiner designs and yes, he's adorable. The big Hooray die cut is from My Favorite Things and I've done five cuts to stack for dimension. Those extra pieces of partial die cuts were done with a stitched square die. It was a fun sketch to try.
Thanks for stopping by........
Lynn

This adorable critter is perfect for this card! Love it, Lynn! I do think that decorative paper breeds and multiplies! Glad your hand and arm are better. Hope the healing continues.
Lol Lynn you make me chuckle and I think the little critter finishes the card off beautifully. Love the papers too.

I love this card Lynn and would have miss your adorable critters if you hadn't used one! And how can you not use this cute little fella?! That design paper is very cool and I agree, I think too it breeds in the craft room. lol Your take on the sketch is awesome my friend! Hugs, Brenda

This is gorgeous! I want to try this technique, and your card is even more effective using it than the way I saw Jennifer McGuire use a square die to create this layout! The paper works beautifully to emphasize this design shape (which you did great!) and actually the little critter just calls even more attention to the design shaping. (Plus he's awfully cute too!) Good JOB! TFS & hugs too.
Love, love, LOVE it, Lynn! Fabulous take on that sketch and your chevron stripes are perfect.
Oh I can never tire of seeing cute critters like this one Lynn! Your pup is so sweet looking up ad the zig zag colors are so happy and fun! Love your take on the sketch! :) HUGS
