The Mouse That Could Hula

Hey guys, it's time for another challenge over at 2 Crafty Critter Crazies.  This time we're being sponsored by none other than Rick St. Dennis. Come on over and enter for a chance to win  but be sure you have some type of critter on your card or project.

Gosh, this makes me wish I was sitting on the beach in Hawaii or somewhere similar.  Not that I'd be doing the hula though - but then again, I'm not a mouse either!  It really would be nice soaking up the sun or even sitting under the palm tree  - sipping on a margarita of course.

The palm tree and mound of sand are from a Lawn Fawn set of stamps and the sunshine die is also from Lawn Fawn.  Of course that cute image is from Rick St. Dennis!  I used a stencil and distress inks for the clouds.

Thanks for stopping by........
Lynn

Hi Lynn,

A margarita is the shortest way to a holiday. Lol. Your mouse is so cute with her teeth sticking out and all her garlands. I could do with such a holiday.

I love your clouds and the shading on the coconut tree is awesome.

Great idea to paper piece the sun. The colours in her garland are nice and bright.

Love,

Monica

Wish I was at the beach with you, Lynn! Wouldn't that sea breeze feel good! I'm with you. I'd rather watch the hula than do it! What a fun card that evokes lots of happy feelings and thoughts!

Typing with only my left hand, Lynn, but had to tell you how much I love your coloring and the dimension on the palm tree!
