But we're talking about birds today and not surfer dudes. I'm not sure if this flamingo qualifies as a bird with that hat on and carrying a purse but it's a cute one. In fact, the entire stamp set from Inkadinkado was cute so instead of doing one card, I did several. I'm trying to do that with more of my stamp sets now. So many of them that I buy I only make one card, file away the stamp set, and then don't use it anymore. Not really paying for itself at all that way so I'm trying to change my ways. Not sure if you can teach an old dog new tricks though!!!
From looking at all these cards and the one from yesterday, it seems I'm heading to the beach. I only wish!!! However, I am going to be gone for a while but will be back. Summer is almost over with and hopefully I'll be getting back to the regular routine of things around here.
Thanks for stopping by...........and will be back soon.

A great idea to use all the stamps in a set. I need to try that. This set has lots of good stamps! The flamingos are adorable and fun and I love the bright cabanas! Hope you have a fun time away.
We all do that stuff, Lynn. These are amazing.....yes, I mean all three! I have been longing for the beach, myself. I will wait until fall so it is empty! The colors are so vibrant on these. Great stamps! So many of us are on a roll to use our stash. It just makes good sense. I even bought the wreath builder template so I can use those tiny little stamps!
I love the beach scenes and those flamingos are so cute all adorned like they are. The colorful beach shacks are fun too and your sand looks great.
Love the birds, Lynn, and the outhouses on the beach! Oh, those are changing booths? Sorry. lol
These are fabulous Lynn, I clearly understand what you are saying about your stamps, I have been doing that too. Going to be doing the same as you and getting more use out of my stamps.

What a fun set of cards with the birds and beach theme! Love the little cabanas on the beach too - if that's what they're called? Great coloring on all of them, and that bird with a purse around it's neck looks silly but cute at the same time. Whatever you;re going to do, have fun doing it! Hope to see you back real soon :)
What a gorgeous and fun set of cards, great theme for this time of year. Emmax
These cards are great Lynn ! I just got back from my sabbatical . Hope to get back into the swing of things now that my mojo is back .

Well I'm very proud of you for using your sets to make more than one! I sure wish that I did that more often and got use of it instead of tossing it to my filed area! These are really fun Summer designs and I absolutely LOVE that bottom one with the different colored changing booths!! Too cute!! Hope you enjoy the end of your Summmer while it's still here! HUGS
I love these cards!! They're all so beautiful!! The colors are so gorgeous!! Have a great day!! Big hugs :)

All three are really nicely done cards! I especially like the coloring on your beach card. I've been trying to get more use out my stuff that I already have on hand... All I need is more time to craft! smile.
Hope you have a good week.
(by the way, I won't be heading for the beach either! I wish too. It's been eleven years since I've been on a beach!
Awww all of these are so cute Lynn! That dressed up flamingo is adorable and I love the the colorful beach huts! Good for you making several cards at a time with the same stamp set. I like making multiple cards at a time and try to do it as much as possible :)
Wonderful cards Lynn, and I must say I like that flamingo too - you're just trying to sweeten us up so we forgive you for going AWOL!!
Blessings

Such fun cards, Lynn! Each one is awesome!
Three awesome summer designs, Lynn!! I NEED to get down to the beach more!!
I so love all of your cards- the flamingo is adorable! ANd, you are so right about making one card and the stamp set gets filed away! I am with you on that and will take on that challenge!!! maybe.....
What a brilliant card Lynn! I'm exactly the same as you, use a stamp set once and that's it. Not always but far too often! Am a little bit that way with dies as well, but not so much.
I have no idea why but I decided to browse back thorough your blog, possibly as your house move puzzled me at the time but I was too wrapped up in this wretched gout business. I was so very sorry to read about the passing of Jim - I totally missed that and do apologise. Sending you belated hugs - and a woof from Dudley!

I do the same thing, Lynn, - or worse I don't use ANY of the stamps, file them away, and forget them. Sigh. Go you for using several right then and there while you have the set out and all your beachy designs are fabulous! You're an inspiration! Wherever you are, I hope you're having a great time! I've just come back from a visit with my sisters and hopefully things will get back to normal here! Hugs, Darnell
Lynn, these are fun images and cards. Love the beach themes and soft colors. Super well done and designed. Hugz
