I'm really knocking out birthday cards lately. I have so many to do before the end of the year and since I've been pretty well worthless I haven't done them like I should. It really does make me wonder why I'm even bothering - other than the fact the card is homemade and I guess that means something. I mean you can go to a dollar store and pick up a card for a dollar now. I was also in the post office yesterday and they had some cute ones for something like $2.99. Our homemade ones probably run about $85 each when you think of all the supplies we buy! Yikes!
Anyway, this is the latest birthday card - for a friend. I used a Taylored Expressions stamp and the rest of the card is pretty self explanatory.
.......And.......as far as going gray......what can I say! I used to color my hair. Now, what you see is what you get!
Thanks for stopping by.........and keep smiling!
Lynn

This is such a bright and cheery card and I love the snarky sentiment too! My gray has turned to white now, so I guess I've gone through all the natural colors that are available! LOL
Yep, $85 sounds close. That did make me laugh because it is so true. That expression on his face says it all. Great card, Lynn.
Fun birthday card, Lynn. I totally agree our handmade cards are kind of pricey when you factor in the tools but the tools are soooo fun. If we golfed the game would be over and nothing to show for it. It least that is what I tell myself. Fun to see you on my blog today. I miss you.
I went gray too when Covid hit and don't want to go back! Hugz
Indeed buying a card is cheaper, but i craft for the therapy and pain relief, the making of the card is a by product. I do tend to flit between different crafts to keep it interesting as trying to make cards when one no longer loves it is hard work! I love your card, the character is brilliant fun and Im sure it was loved by the recipient. Emmax
Grumpy little bunny, lol, such a fun and happy card with the sunshine yellow papers, fabulous card Lynn.

That's why we send homemade cards to special people! They are very valuable! Love the yellow and this guy makes me smile!
Lynn this is marvellous - love the snarky pun. I have never coloured my hair - I always said I would grow old disgracefully!! As it is I have an increasing number of "second generation blonde" hairs...i.e. white...
Blessings
Maxine
That’s so true! Your cards are fab though, made with love, so much more special than shop bought. Xxx
I had tp laugh at the price of homemade cards...right! I have spent thousands on my crafting supplies. I'm sure I did not save money over the price of cards. I do love making them, though! This is so cute. The lady that cuts mt hair always asks if she can color mine. I feel like I have waited forever to get this light gray hair. I don't want it back to what it was. I love it as it is!
You ARE on a roll with birthday cards Lynn and that's a good thing! I had to laugh about being able to buy a card at the dollar store now for a dollar or some offer them 2 for dollar while ours costs about $85. Truer words were never spoken! lol But look at all the fun we have! What a cute card. That bunny isn't looking like they are enjoying celebrating their birthday or maybe it is the sentiment. lol Yep, I still dye my hair but am thinking very seriously about stopping too. We will see.....Hugs, Brenda
Cute, cute, cute! Love the grumpy bunny and the punny sentiment! LOL on the cost of handmade cards! As long as the recipient appreciates them, I'm all in! It's a fun hobby!
I am blessed to have family members who wait for my card every year, sometimes it's the only card they recieve. Your card is cute!
Hugs,
Chriss
If it weren't for gray hairs, I'd have no hair at all!! What a fabulously fun birthday card for friends of "our" age, Lynn!!
