How About Another Penguin

Since I already had the set of Gerda Steiner Design penguin stamps out from my last card, I decided to make another with a different little penguin and a different design..........and different sketch challenge too!  I'm on a roll for Valentine's Day I guess......

I think the design paper with the hearts is from probably from Paper Studio and the stripe paper is an old old, ancient piece from Stampin' Up.  I can live to be 400 and still have patterned paper left over.  No matter how much I use I still keep finding more - or maybe it's just finding me!  It's so hard to pass up cute paper.

I'll enter this in the challenge at Try Stampin' on Tuesday for their sketch challenge.

Thanks for stopping by.........and keep smiling!

Lynn

This is super cute and fun, and I can't stop chuckling over you living to 400 and still having paper LOL I think all crafters can relate to that one! Seriously though, this is a great combo of papers to go along with that adorable little penguin delivering the mail! I Love it!

Yes please! Another adorable Valentine's card Lynn. These penguins are just too cute. I need me some cute penguins in my stash. I hear you about the pattern paper, same here! It's hard to resist though, isn't it?! LOL Hugs, Brenda

I have a theory that patterned paper multiplies when we're not looking! It's impossible to use it up. Your second penguin is as adorable as the first, Lynn! Another fun valentine!

This little penguin is just as adorable as the last one and I love the papers you chose, Lynn! That striped paper almost looks corrugated. Great visual effect. I know what you mean about your paper stash. Mine is the same way and I'm never going to live long enough to use it all. It's probably a good thing you and I don't live in the same town. Our craft rooms together would probably sink the city! lol

A very sweet penguin Valentine! If I had a year for every piece of patterned paper in my stash, I would be immortal! :-)) Just love finding that special bit of hoarded goodness and giving it a card home. Nicely done and thank you for sharing at Try Stampin' On Tuesday.

Lynn, what a cute card! I know what you mean about pattern paper... I just made a card today with a piece that was in a DSP pack I bought at LEAST 10 years ago! It was the perfect piece, so squirreling away paper pays off! I think your penguin is adorable, and the pattern papers you chose are just perfect! Thank you for sharing with us at Try Stampin' on Tuesday!!! -Donna
