All the flowers around here are looking pretty ratty now. It's just been a really hot summer but thankfully we're on the downhill side of that (hopefully) - and fall is around the corner. I even saw mums for sale at the store the other day....no, I didn't buy any. For one thing, it's still too hot - and also....I kill them pretty quick. So.....how about a daisy card instead!
I used a die from Simon Says Stamp and a pre-made strip sentiment....with a bit of distressing on the diecut and also the background. Not sure why in the world I used pink for that background but they were the colors I grabbed so there you go.

I LOVE daisies Lynn, you can't go wrong with daisies and your card is gorgeous, I love the pink panel and popped up sentiment too..I have trouble growing flowers where I live as it gets so hot, and we always have watering restrictions.

Also here is still very hot and dry. They says that it will rain this weekend... Fingers crossed, we need some rain.

The daisy looks good against the pink and it is so pretty. I, too, can kill plants. I once killed an artificial plant by setting it on a radiator and it melted.

What a beautiful card Lynn! I love that daisy die and love the way you colored it. That background is perfect to showcase this beautiful bloom. Yes, it is still hot, hot, hot! LOL I can imagine how the plant life must suffering from the heat. I know those famous cacti in AZ are falling over because they are so dry. So sad. We got hot days and then some more milder days, but it's been mostly humid with higher temps. But thankfully, we aren't in the 100's like y'all! Stay cool my friend!! Hugs, Brenda
