There are mice everywhere. They love it outside, but you do realize that they like to come inside during the cooler weather.....EEP!
This cute set of mice stamps from Sunny Studio was given to me last year and I love using it paired with the wagon, pumpkins, and cheese. I added a die for the grass, fence, and even some extra clouds over the already distressed background clouds.
We're due up for some cooler weather so I think it's safe to say we won't have any exploding pumpkins from the heat this week. Gotta love that! Surely fall actually can't be here now - but we can always hope I guess.
I realize Thanksgiving is coming up and so is Christmas - and I haven't even started on Christmas cards.... but I'm not sure I'll be sending out too many this year either. Decisions, decisions. However, I did make one decision - I've decided to take a short (or long) break from blogging. I have a few other things I want to do and maybe even try and concentrate enough on finishing a quilt or two. So, I have one more card coming up on the November 1st next week and then I'll be missing in action for a while. If I don't get back over here before Christmas, I hope everyone has a nice holiday.
Thanks for stopping by.......and keep smiling - always!
Lynn

These mice look like they have been inside eating since they are fat and sassy but, oh, so cute. Sometimes we do need a break and I understand. I don't seem to have any inspiration for cards lately and I hate that. Doing something else may kick start you back in a while.
Eep! This is absolutely adorable Lynn! I love these mice as opposed to the 'real' ones for sure! LOL The scene you've created is awesome with so many details from the fence, sky and grass! I love it! Enjoy the cooler weather and enjoy your break my friend! Have a great Holiday Season!
Those little Mice are just too cute and I love this little scene you've created. Those blue skies are beautiful and I just love it all! I'm sad that you're taking a break from blogging, but I understand priorities and how they work. I'll be anxious to see that beautiful quilt you're working on. Take good care in the meantime and I will surely miss you!
Look at these adorable little creatures Lynn, such a fun cute scene, fabulous colouring and love the fluffy clouds and I will miss you and will be glad to see you back, have a wonderful happy holiday time too and good luck with the quilting.

How cute!! It's a cheerful card and love how you give some more dimension with the diecut clouds! These mice seem have food enough for the winter despite the horrendous Summer and that one with the sweater makes me smile :)
Enjoy your break, sometime we all more need time for ourself. See you later!
I 'hear' you Lynn, but will miss you while you are away!
loving this sweet card Love the extra clouds over the already cloudy sky, and the wee pumpkins and wheelbarrow.!
The mice around here don't get a chance - I have a very effective 'hunter' of a cat!! I have had mice, birds and rats all brought inside to me...
Blessings

Mice are really cute in the yard, but not the house. And if they do yard work, all the better! What a fun scene! You will be missed, my friend! Have a wonderful holiday season!
Delightful fun card, love the scene. Enjoy your break, i think it does us all good to get away from blogging and the internet now and then. Big hugs Emmax
