Birthday Boy - Seize the Birthday
We have another challenge beginning today at Seize the Birthday! Our sponsor is By Lori Designs who provided the images for us to use today. Be sure and check out the blog to see all the wonderful inspiration from the DT and also our guest designer, Sherry Eckblad - and then come on over and play along. We're using the same sketch that we had last week, but this week we need to see your masculine/guy cards.
I used some SU DP and little tag. Added some twine and even did a little bit of stitching on this one. Oh, and I paper pieced those jeans with some denim looking paper.
We'd love to see you play along in this weeks Seize the Birthday challenge.
Thanks for stopping by............

Fun and Games
Time to play a little "I Spy"!!! I can remember when I was little and my parents played this with me and then when I got older I played it with my children. Now, I get to play it with the granddaughters. An OLD game, but still fun to play. I won't go into the whole explanation of how to play, but basically you spy something a certain color (or even a thing) and then the other person has to guess what what you "spied".
The cue word over at CASology is "game" so thought I'd play along in their challenge. I used a little monster image from SU and stamped him on DP and popped him up a bit. I was looking for a larger eye but all I had were the smaller ones, so that's just going to have to do it. "I Spy" was done with some alphabet stamps from CTMH. On the inside I put "love" - for Valentine's Day.

Tweet-ness
We're starting a new challenge at {Pin}spirational today and have some fabulous inspiration from the DT lined up for you - and two wonderful sponsors - Pink Cat Studio and Gingerloft!!!! That's right.....two sponsors so you can double your chances of winning! Be sure and play along - if you don't play, you can't win!
I'm using an image that was provided by Pink Cat Studio and aren't these little birdies just tweet-ness all over!! I colored them in Copics and then used a SU sentiment. I figure this could be used for a Valentine, Love, or just a Thinking of You type card. I love the inspiration photo this week too. Look at all those fantastic colors! WOW!
Thanks for stopping by........and be sure and play along in the {Pin}spirational Challenge!

Blinged Out Valentine Bug
Last weekend my son, DIL, and sweet little granddaughter were here (probably to get their Christmas presents!!! Yikes) and I got to spend quite a lot of time with them. Madeline will be turning two next week so she's all legs in motion! She started getting a little bored playing with the same toys so I went back in the craft room and got a package of dimensional ladybug stickers that I'd never used. She had ladybugs stuck on her - and all over the house! FUN stuff!
After seeing the inspiration challenge at The Alley Way Stamps, I knew I'd have to make a ladybug card for her and enter this in their challenge. I love the yummy colors in that photo - vanilla, red, and pink. I used a free image and sentiment from The Alley Way Stamps and an old Retro Sketches sketch. The DP is actually vanilla but looks closer to white in photo. Think this will make a cute Valentine for little Madeline.
Thanks for stopping by..........and I'll be back around soon.

Lovin' That Bug
Since Valentine's Day is only a couple of weeks from now, I figured I'd better get off my duff and get some cards made - at least for the grand kids. I actually got two finished and need to finish the rest so it won't be Easter when I get these mailed!
I used a Hero Arts stamp on both cards. LOVIN' THAT BUG!!!! I always wanted one of these but never got one. No, I wasn't a hippie, but did love the car. When I was a senior in high school my dad surprised me with a vehicle - and I was really keeping my fingers crossed the he'd gotten the "bug", but got a GTO instead. I really don't think he would have ever bought me something like that if he'd had any earthly idea how fast those babies could fly. So I didn't get the "bug" but DID get a lot of guys that wanted me for a girlfriend! LOL!!
I did a lot of paper piecing on this first card to kinda jazz it up a bit. Um......actually did pretty much the same paper piecing on the second one too.....of well... The sentiment I used on this is from Hero Art.
I'll enter this in the challenges at Simon Says Stamps Challenge (paper piecing) and at Totally Stampalicious (paper piecing).
The jury is still out on this one. Yes or no? Just seems like a LOT of red on here. Same image, paper piecing, a SU sentiment, and an embossing folder from Paper Studio.
I used the sketch from Sweet Stop Sketches and will enter it in their challenge.
Thanks so much for stopping by..........and have a great weekend.

It's Not A Funny Friday.....however.....
I know it's not Friday and I'll get to that in a minute........
But first wanted to tell you that we start another {Pin}spirational Challenge today! Our sponsors for this challenge are Kitty Bee Designs AND Cardmadfairy! Yep, two wonderful sponsors. So, come on over and play along this week - we'd love to have you.
I used some DP from "who knows where" and a little Paper Smooches image. Look at the expression on this little guys face! Cute, right!!
Here's our {Pin}spirational inspiration photo for you this week. Isn't he just a dapper looking little guy!!
Now, on to why it's not a Funny Friday - however.............Thought you'd enjoy a short (no pun intended here) story about our little doxie - Rambo................
Right before Christmas Jim decided to do some caulking in the bathroom shower. Keep in mind that Jim is NOT at painter - or a caulker!!! He'd been in there forever just working away and I decided I'd better go check on him. He had caulking all over the bathroom floor, his pants, hair, and shoes! Geeze....... I looked at Rambo and he was laying on the bed on his back with all four legs straight up in the air, snoozing away - and his entire underside (you know where I'm talking about here I'm sure), feet, and tail were completely covered in caulking!!!! I was able to get a little off his tail and feet - but that was it. Of course it had already dried solid as a rock. So, for the last three weeks, our "little man" has been running around with white caulking all over his "privates" and not really caring one way or another about this! NOT a pretty site at all!! A tiny bit of it is starting to wear off some - just hope he doesn't have to go to the vet anytime soon so I have to give some type of explanation!!!
Thanks for stopping by......and check out our {Pin}spriational Challenge!
