Butterfly Wings

Hopefully you can at least get a little "feel" for this card! I was in a hurry this morning when I took the picture (needed to get it done so I could go shopping!!!) and it just didn't come out very good. So I apologize for that. Now it's too late to take another photo as it's rainy outside. The REALLY bad news though is that I went by Michaels today and could not find a single thing I wanted to buy and they had a ton of stuff for like 40 % off! Oh well, I guess I just wasn't in the mood for shopping otherwise I would have probably done serious damage! Now, the good news is that my pocketbook dearly LOVES me today!!

Anyway, back to the card.........The layout is from Clean and Simple Stamping FTL 96. This is actually BEAUTIFUL paper......very glitterly (is that a word) and just so pretty. It's from Paper Studio Poteeka Souffle. The sentiment is from Butterfly Wings (CTMH). On the inside it says:
"It goes where is pleases and pleases where it goes". Very nice sentiment I think. This will be the anniversary for my sister in law and her husband - 51 years!!!!

Thanks for stopping by...............

Lynn

wahhhh...I left a nice long comment for you - and then something happened!!

This will be a shorter version! Love the paper, but I know you could recreate it yourself with your beautiful stamps!! 51 years! That's awesome!!
Glad you got away with your wallet intact from Michaels!!!

Lynn, this card is GORGEOUS. What a fabulous card for an anniversary card - especially such a momentous anniversary. I'm going to have to try this layout.
Love the colors, too!
just gorgeous.

This is such pretty paper. Until I read that it was patterned paper I thought you had stamped all of those butterflies in all those colors.

I too have been in a shopping draught. We had to go to Baltimore the other day and there is a stamping/scrapping store near by our destination that I usually go to. It's a great store but I only get there about 4 times a year. Hubby drove right by it and I said "nope, not interested" so he kept driving.
